Country Wedding Venues in Umbria

We got married at Tenuta San Masseo in June, under the arches with Assisi in the background, and it was the most perfect day ❤️ neither of us speak Italian and we don’t live in Italy, but our wedding planner Iuliia was absolutely incredible at taking care of all our needs! She found us perfect vendors in our price range, and was able to accommodate every request we had. Communicative, efficient, and thoughtful, we felt so well taken care of both before the big day and during! Iuliia really helped bring our day to life - our guests can’t stop telling us what an incredible service they experienced. All the staff were excellent, and went above and beyond to ensure both us and our guests were looked after. We’ll treasure this experience forever!

We first visited Tenuta San Lorenzo in March 2025, and it was raining so badly. The only thing we could think was how even in the rain it was and is the most beautiful venue. We could not picture getting married anywhere else! We were welcomed into the venue by the most wonderful staff, a family run business who made you feel apart of their family and community. Alice was our contact throughout the process and we really couldn’t have done it without her. She always answered our 101 questions with grace, kindness and reassurance. No ask was too big, and she really helped us pull off our dream wedding. The venue staff were incredible on our wedding weekend, they spoke great English and our guests had nothing but good feedback for the whole team. Tenuta hosted us for both the pizza party and our wedding day. One thing we really wanted to ensure was that all our guests could be catered for with their array of dietary requirements. No one left Tenuta hungry, and the team catered for nut allergies, gluten free, vegan and vegetarians! Which is a massive thing to pull off and keep everyone happy, our guests could not stop talking about how delicious the food and desserts were. We will continue to dream about our Tiramisu wedding cake! I don’t think we will ever recover from how wonderful our wedding weekend truly was, there was no stress or worries and we felt like we could actually enjoy our wedding! Our guests keep asking us to do it all over again, and if we could we would! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us our dream wedding! Honestly, I could not be more thankful of that day that I stumbled upon Pieve del Castello's photos. I decided to contact them and ask for availability, my now husband and I were in love with the photos of the place and the vibe. Thankfully they had availability for the dates that we were looking for and then we had a video call. Dario, the owner, showed us the location, the pool, where everything could be located for the ceremony and even options in case of rain. We loved it!. He made us feel confident that it would work, even when we were not going to be visiting before the wedding to confirm. We just went for it, and we are so happy we did. Planning of the event went VERY smoothly, he requested details on what we wanted and pretty much made it happen :). Honestly, we do not know how to thank him enough, but made our dreams come true. We decided to go for a two day celebration. The package included accommodation, a pizza party, the setting up for the ceremony, the food and drinks. The first day was a pizza party, and honestly everything was delicious, we ended this day with some gelato. Weather was amazing, which allowed us to sit outside just to chit chat, and the place looked fantastic. The day of the wedding I could not believe how pretty everything looked, it was perfect. The mariachi looked and sounded amazing while playing and we are proud to be the first ones to have a mariachi there (yes, I am Mexican). The aperitivo was so tasty, the pasta was to die for (I still remember the first pasta plate and I still want to have some now- Cappellacci with burrata omg), dessert was unreal. The wedding cake was so light and so tasty I wanted to take it home and the tiramisu, one of the best ones I've tried. They even surprised us with some entertainment during the cutting of the cake that we weren't expecting. This was the first time my husband cut the neck of a wine bottle with a sabre so it was quite amusing. We had a great time, everything was fantastic, even our guests keep saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to. So, we could not recommend it more. 10000/10.

What can I say more than amazing service. All throughout my 15 months of wedding organization from UK, Maria Sole and Daniela have been helpful and accommodating in every aspects. Always answering questions and suggesting a better options. Their recommendations regarding musicians, florist, hairdresser and makeup artist were spot on as I liked them all and hired them all! During the wedding weekend they have been so supporting and willing to accommodate any of my and my guests requests. Fantastic people! Amazing service, food and accommodations. I will definitely come back there to celebrate our anniversaries!!! Thank you to all the staff and owners for making our day so special!!

From the very first moment, Casale Regnano felt like the perfect place to celebrate our wedding. Surrounded by nature and history, it's peaceful, intimate, easy to reach, and a truly authentic postcard of Umbria at its best. Luca and his family welcomed us with incredible kindness and warmth. They were always available, friendly without ever being intrusive, and paid great attention to every detail—from the amazing food, full of delicious traditional Umbrian dishes, to the beautiful accommodations created by restoring the old farmhouse. The swimming pool is the perfect finishing touch and makes this already stunning place even more special. What can we say? Bianca and I, along with our families, couldn't have wished for a better place to celebrate such an important day. Highly recommended!

All our guests arrived from Rome Fiumicino and traveled easily to Perugia station. Many stayed at Palazzo di Bagnaia, while others chose accommodation in Perugia city center, which worked perfectly. We celebrated our wedding day on Saturday, enjoyed a lovely brunch together on Sunday, and departed on Monday. Everything was extremely well organized, thanks to the excellent suppliers recommended by Enrico and Karin, who supported us throughout the entire process. Palazzo di Bagnaia is a wonderful venue, well located and beautifully managed. We can truly recommend this location to any couple looking for a flawless destination wedding in Italy.
