The food was delicious, and so many of our guests commented how amazing it was. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented.
Most of all, the staff were simply amazing, Mark and the team were all friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Yasmine, our coordinator, made sure every detail was accounted for, and the communication was second to none.

Where do we even begin with Carr Bank Wedding Venue? From the second we first visited and met Nicky, we just knew this was where we wanted to get married. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out, and everywhere you look feels perfect for photos. The building and grounds created the most stunning backdrop for our wedding pictures and there are so many beautiful spots around the venue that allowed us to get the most amazing photos that we will treasure forever. But what truly makes Carr Bank so special is the incredible team behind it.

A massive shout out has to go to Nicky, who was honestly exceptional from start to finish. I genuinely do not know what we would have done without her. From day one, she went above and beyond for us in every possible way and made sure our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. She somehow managed to stay calm and patient through my constant emails and questions (ha-ha!) and nothing was ever too much trouble for her.

On the wedding day itself, Nicky was everywhere — running backwards and forwards making sure everything was perfect, helping us set up all of our own decorations and personal touches, checking in on us constantly, and making sure the entire day ran smoothly from start to finish. She looked after me so well all day and genuinely made me feel calm, supported, and cared for during what can be such an overwhelming day.

We also want to mention Ellie, who was there throughout the evening. Although unfortunately I didn’t get to speak to her too much because she was so busy making sure everything behind the scenes was running perfectly, she also could not do enough for us. It was so clear how hard she was working to keep everything on track and ensure the evening went exactly to plan. She was also there working breakfast the following morning which was such a lovely touch and made the whole experience feel so personal from beginning to end.

We also really want to thank all of the staff behind the scenes — the bar staff, waiters and waitresses, chefs, and kitchen team. Without every single one of them, our day simply would not have been the same. Everyone worked so incredibly hard all day and night to make sure guests were looked after, drinks were flowing, food was served on time, and everything ran seamlessly.

The food was absolutely incredible and we have had nothing but compliments from our guests since the wedding about how beautiful everything was and how amazing the meal tasted. A special mention has to go to the mash potato because apparently it was THAT good my niece ended up with an entire bowl of it just for herself — and honestly, I’m still slightly jealous!

Every single member of the Carr Bank team played such a huge part in making our wedding day unforgettable and we are so grateful to all of them. If you are considering booking Carr Bank as your wedding venue, do it. You will not find a more beautiful venue or a team of people who care more about making your day absolutely perfect.

The venue itself is stunning with plenty of scenic spots for wedding photos. The decor was beautiful, the food was delicious and the guest bedrooms were nicely decorated and spacious.

The team were amazing throughout the planning process and exceptional on the day! It was a wonderful experience working with a team who are just as passionate about bringing to life the wedding of your dreams as you are! Thank you so much to Nicky, Ellie, Mel and Yas for everything you did in preparation for and on our wedding day! You gave us a wedding day we will never forget and we are so grateful!

Well, where do I start, we came into this beautiful venue not a clue how to plan a wedding, where to start, there were renovations going off at the time and it still didn't take away from the magic of Carr bank. we were shown around by the lovely marc who made up feel very welcomed and like no question or request was to much or little.
We decided that day on leaving that it was our venue, we felt at home, it was light, open, spaced out beautifully, the ceremony room was wonderful, warm and intimate which is what we wanted. The bar open and clean with so many smiles around it was contagious and hard not to feel happy.
Once we laid the deposit down we came to every open day, just to absorb as much as we could and also secured all of our vendors at the venue, each and every meeting we had was straight forward, easy to understand, flexible in meeting all our needs and above all the customer service from each employee was next level.
At no point during the planning and execution of our special day did we feel pressured, uneasy or a burden, they fulfilled our every dream and wish, turned our dreams in a reality.
The day of the wedding, we were blessed with Ellie, Nikki and Mel as our force to be reckoned with, we cant thank this team enough, Nikki was our first person in the day that helped, she was so helpful in the set up offering suggestions in how to place things which were very welcomed, she was back and forth ensuring we were okay and if we needed anything, she was amazing and we had full trust in her expertise thankyou Nikki. We then had Ellie later into the day and she was an angel helping to keep us happy, fed, watered, the amount of times id asked her to take cards and gifts upstairs, she very much got her steps in and did it with a smile, she was so helpful and helped me remain calm and together throughout the evening, thankyou so much Ellie, Mel was our service with a smile as well, she was with us right to the end, even when everyone had left she still grabbed us our plates from our buffet, with a smile, after everything she'd done if there was anything else we needed, she was a little pocket rocket .
We 100% know they were on full force around us and did so much work through the day and evening as the rooms transformed like magic from the day to the night and had different themes and feels. Thankyou Carr bank for everything we saw you do and everything we didn't.
The following morning, we were greeted with lovely smiles again, didn't feel rushed or hurried to leave, it was very calm, relaxed, breakfast was beautiful and very well presented, they had packed everything up for us so it was ready and we for sure didn't want to leave.
Also a little shoutout to the cleaning lady(so sorry I couldn't remember your name), you did a great job, it was lovely and clean, all the way through we could see how hard you work.

we will still be coming in to see you again on your open days and events, just to relive the magic and to see you all again.

We got married at Carr Bank Wedding Venue and honestly… where do I even start? Unreal from beginning to end.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning—the building, the grounds, everything. It made the perfect backdrop for the whole day and looked incredible in every photo. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful it all was.
I was that bride with a million questions and requests (and then a few more for good measure), but nothing was ever too much. The team were so patient, so organised, and just made everything feel easy.
Ellie, the wedding coordinator, deserves her own 5-star review. Absolute superwoman. She was literally driving around Derbyshire on a bank holiday weekend hunting down strawberries so I could have my chocolate fountain—who does that?! Iconic behaviour.
The whole day ran perfectly, we loved every second, and our guests are still talking about it. And as if that wasn’t enough, they went all out the next morning for my daughter’s birthday breakfast too—such a thoughtful touch and just sums up how above-and-beyond they go.

Me and my husband got married at Carr Bank Wedding Venue on the 11th of April. It was the best day, we couldn’t have wished for more.

Ellie, Nicky and the team were amazing from the day we booked the wedding until now. Communication was always there and we were never left with unanswered questions or anxieties. The planning meetings were smooth sailing and nothing was ever too much to ask. Ellie and Nicky welcomed some of our unique ideas without question and made them happen. Even with simple things such as choosing our centrepieces, they set a few out so we could see it for ourselves and helped make every fine detail perfect.

On the day of the wedding, they were absolute superstars. From calming last minute nerves, running to aid my 4 year old with sweets after he had bumped his head, to sending some staff out to take photos that my photographer may have forgotten… everything they did was above and beyond with nothing but love and care.

We chose BBQ food for our wedding breakfast and the food that was served was delicious. The variety of foods that they served was so inclusive for all guests. There were many compliments.

The bar staff were so lovely, polite and friendly. They certainly had a busy shift that day, they served with a smile and interacted with our guests and everyone always had a drink in hand and served so promptly.

The day went by so fast and we couldn’t have wished for a better venue. The team at Carr Bank treat you as a bunch of friends and not just another couple putting money into the venues pocket, they care beyond belief and do everything possible to make everything as perfect as they can.

The next morning, we stumbled down for breakfast and nothing seemed like too much trouble to any of the staff. Leaving the venue the next morning was so difficult as we just wanted to stay with them and have more fun!

Absolutely perfect day. All guests expressed how lovely the venue was, how good the food was and how great and attentive the staff were. We were made to feel so special and looked after to the last detail.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Carr Bank from start to finish. From the early planning stages right through to the day itself, everything was handled with care, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm.

The team was incredibly flexible and accommodating with our requests, which made such a difference. They really took the time to make sure our wedding felt personal and unique to us, rather than a copy-and-paste version of someone else’s day. That meant a lot.

This was the most perfect magical day on July for our wedding day. The staff from start to finish couldn't do enough for us and made our dreams come true. We celebrated our wedding at Carr Bank on 24th August - we had it all, perfect weather, the perfect location and the perfect day. In spite of one or two little staffing hiccups, Yasemin and her team really pulled it out of the bag. The warm, friendly professionalism - from every member of staff we encountered - was worthy of note. The space is wonderfully flexible - the ceremony room was decorated beautifully to our colour scheme, and allowed for a completely personal blessing and candle lighting ceremony. The wedding breakfast was a triumph - delicious food, beautifully presented.
The venue itself is a delight, offering a beautiful setting in a landscaped park, with plenty of space and even a children's public playground across the park! On a warm August evening, the terrace afforded our guests the perfect space to relax and enjoy the buffet, bar and DJ entertainment.

Carr bank manor is a unique venue. An old Manor House set in beautiful grounds. The wedding party has the whole house, including bedrooms, for your special day. Which makes Carr bank great value for money for the exclusivity.
The staff, from first meeting until the wedding day were very attentive to our plans and ideas.

We can’t recommend this wedding venue enough! The staff listens to your needs and customizes all the nitty gritty. They made the day truly memorable for the bride, groom and their families.

We absolutely would recommend Carr Bank Wedding venue to everyone. We went knowing a budget, when we first viewed the beautiful manor we felt it was out of our price range, and it was but the amazing staff asked our budget and worked around things to get close to our budget so that we could have our dream wedding day. We had numerous meetings we visited the venue on open days to plan little things our selves, the meetings with the staff was to help our dream come alive. On the big day the staff were more than capable they defiantly knew what they were doing even with mayhem of a wedding day. They were always on hand if needed and helped guide us through the day. The food was out of this world defiantly felt like five star treatment. We would do it all again in a heart beat at Carr Bank.
