The food was delicious, and so many of our guests commented how amazing it was. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented.
Most of all, the staff were simply amazing, Mark and the team were all friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. Yasmine, our coordinator, made sure every detail was accounted for, and the communication was second to none.

This was the most perfect magical day on July for our wedding day. The staff from start to finish couldn't do enough for us and made our dreams come true. From the first moment of entering Carr Bank we knew we wanted our wedding there. The day went perfectly from arriving with the staff sending bubbles to our room for the girls to get ready. Food was delicious. From helping get all the little ones down the aisle and letting us have a moment when we needed. The rooms were beautiful. From table setting and seat cover great value for money. We celebrated our wedding at Carr Bank on 24th August - we had it all, perfect weather, the perfect location and the perfect day. In spite of one or two little staffing hiccups, Yasemin and her team really pulled it out of the bag. The warm, friendly professionalism - from every member of staff we encountered - was worthy of note. The space is wonderfully flexible - the ceremony room was decorated beautifully to our colour scheme, and allowed for a completely personal blessing and candle lighting ceremony. The wedding breakfast was a triumph - delicious food, beautifully presented.
The venue itself is a delight, offering a beautiful setting in a landscaped park, with plenty of space and even a children's public playground across the park! On a warm August evening, the terrace afforded our guests the perfect space to relax and enjoy the buffet, bar and DJ entertainment.

Carr bank manor is a unique venue. An old Manor House set in beautiful grounds. The wedding party has the whole house, including bedrooms, for your special day. Which makes Carr bank great value for money for the exclusivity.
The staff, from first meeting until the wedding day were very attentive to our plans and ideas.

We can’t recommend this wedding venue enough! The staff listens to your needs and customizes all the nitty gritty. They made the day truly memorable for the bride, groom and their families.

We absolutely would recommend Carr Bank Wedding venue to everyone. We went knowing a budget, when we first viewed the beautiful manor we felt it was out of our price range, and it was but the amazing staff asked our budget and worked around things to get close to our budget so that we could have our dream wedding day. We had numerous meetings we visited the venue on open days to plan little things our selves, the meetings with the staff was to help our dream come alive. On the big day the staff were more than capable they defiantly knew what they were doing even with mayhem of a wedding day. They were always on hand if needed and helped guide us through the day. The food was out of this world defiantly felt like five star treatment. We would do it all again in a heart beat at Carr Bank.

We got married on Friday 8th August and we can honestly say we had the best day.
We first looked at Carr bank back in 2023 and we didn't look anywhere else. I knew it was the venue we were going to get married at.
Everyone was so lovely from start to end.the day itself was perfect. The table layout was perfect and ceremony room was beautiful. All of our guests said they had an amazing day/evening.
It was just perfect!!

The venue itself is set in an idyllic location. If you are having children to your wedding, there is no time for them to bored. We had a range of ages from 8 up to 18 (as well as adults, obviously)
The park is absolutely beautiful with swings, slide, climbing frame and roundabout (to name a few) massive area for them to kick a ball about.

Inside the venue
Perfect, so romantic and classy, with a lovely bar, with plenty of choices of drinks. The Wedding planners also made sure that they got in anything that we requested, so that is was readily available.

The ceremony room was beautiful and intimate and was so delicate yet simple. Exactly what we wanted. Seating was perfectly positioned and comfortable.

The wedding breakfast area was a perfect size and again was set out perfectly. It was light and elegant.

In the evening, there was still a lot of space for people to sit inside and to dance. We had our own entertainment which there was plenty of room for and did not encroach on the dance area. As it was a really hot day quite a few guests chose to sit outside, where again there was plenty of room and very comfortable.

The staff
The staff were incredible, nothing was too much trouble. They were all very professional and arranged everything from announcing us as Mr and Mrs so that we could let everyone cover us with confetti. They let us know when to be seated for the wedding breakfast and even delayed it coming out, due to a small personal issue that we had on the day. They were amazing.

The food
The wedding breakfast (which was for 35 guests) was incredible. Everyone within the wedding party commented on how amazing the food was. I used to be a chef, so I can be quite critical, but honestly it was fantastic. The meat was succulent and cooked to perfection. Vegetables were fantastic and just the right amount. The desserts were unbelievable.
We opted for the traditional buffet, in thr rvrning, which went down a storm. There was a great variety of sandwiches and nibbly bits etc but also cake. There was plenty of food for our 100 guests.

I honestly cannot fault the venue for its value for money. It was a perfect day, even better than I expected. At the viewing appointment, we fell in love with the venue, the planning appointments were relaxed yet professional. The day itself was well organised and the staff were amazing. Then to top it off we stopped in the bridal suite which was fantastic, the bed was super comfy and the bath and shower to die for. Breakfast was a selection of fresh fruit, pastries, toast and also a full English. Again amazing.

Carr Bank was truly a dream come true. From the moment we stepped onto the venue we were blown away by how personal and intimate the venue is, beautifully landscaped grounds, and the attention to detail in every corner of the venue.

Our event coordinator, Millie , was a lifesaver throughout the entire planning process. She was responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day special. On the wedding day, the staff worked seamlessly behind the scenes — everything ran on schedule, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The in-house catering exceeded expectations. Our guests are still raving about the food.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Carr Bank, and we can’t speak highly enough of the venue and the team behind it. From start to finish, everything was handled with such professionalism, care, and attention to detail.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning — elegant, full of character, and ideal for both the ceremony and reception. It created the perfect atmosphere for our big day and gave us and our guests memories we’ll cherish forever.

A special mention must go to the food, which was exceptional. Every course was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious — our guests are still talking about it! The catering team clearly take great pride in their work, and it really showed in both the quality and service.

The staff throughout were incredible — friendly, efficient, and genuinely committed to making sure everything ran smoothly. Thanks to them, we were able to fully relax and enjoy every moment of our day.

Our wedding at Carr Bank was superb. From booking our wedding to our special day, we were well taken care of by a fantastic team who not only know what they’re doing but care about it too, and we were able to make our day our own and unique to us - the team ran with everything we asked for as if it was personal to them. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing, so many guests commented on it. The venue itself is stunning, but also easy to put your own stamp on for a day that represents you as a couple. The day ran like clockwork, so well organised without it feeling rushed or like a conveyor belt. The attention to you as a couple is second to none and you having the best day in the way you want it is the top of their agenda. We cannot recommend Carr Bank Wedding Venue enough, and we can’t thank them enough either for the most fantastic day they gave us. All the team were fantastic, but an extra-massive shout out to Yasmine, who worked so hard to give us the experience we hoped for on our day - she was absolutely amazing. Carr bank was the first venue we looked at for our wedding. Mark and his team were fantastic, you really got the impression they genuinely cared.
We looked at 3 or 4 other venues, but Carr bank and it's staff just had something about it that felt right. We weren't disappointed. They couldn't do enough for us. Helen and the bridesmaids stayed at the venue the night before and on the morning of the wedding our wedding planner Yasmine went above and beyond to look after them. She event went to Tesco's for an emergency nail file!
