Messed up our first Dance and very slow responses
We had asked for our first dance song to be mixed into something more upbeat and well known to get everyone up dancing, we specifically requested espresso by Sabrina Carpenter however, when it came to playing this song, a very slow version of it started to play before the DJ realised it was the incorrect version, stopping it and playing the correct version from the beginning which spoilt the effect we wanted and caused a bit of awkwardness on the dance floor at a vital part in the wedding. Nothing that some organisation could have helped.
We spent time in the planning stages putting together a playlist as we had been advised to on the original booking email however when the end of the night was approaching, lots of the songs on the 'must play' list hadn't been played and we had to keep asking the DJ to find the songs and play them, sometimes being told that his phone wasn't working so he couldn't get us the songs we wanted.
Although it ended up being a fab night, we were let down in the moments we spent time planning for and looking forward to.
