We originally booked Phil for a full wedding day and couldn’t believe how reasonable his pricing was as his portfolio was flawless! When plans changed and we eloped, he had no hesitations in coming up to photograph our very intimate and special day. Phil made us feel so relaxed during the process of taking our photos. He made us laugh and helped us to loosen up and even stopped for a celebration drink with us. He captured such true emotions and involved everyone expression in our wedding album. He was up for all of our weird and wonderful requests and we honestly couldn’t fault his service, beautiful photos and genuinely lovely character. We love our wedding album and we can’t express the pure joy we feel looking through our photos. After a while Phil becomes like a friend to you, we will use him at every opportunity in the future! Phil photographed my wedding in December. He was absolutely incredible and went above and beyond anything we could have expected.

Pricing - He is incredibly reasonable for the talents he has, I found him on Bark and he had great reviews, he didn't disappoint.

On the day - Everyone after the wedding kept commenting how great he was- people kept saying they had no idea he had been there to capture the shots he got. My husband and I were gobsmacked at all the pictures in the church, he had been up on the mezzanine, every angle of the aisle, behind the priest, with the musicians and got all the key moments. You could think there was a team of 5 and no one even saw him go!

Time taken - Phil gets the shot very quickly. I had expressed to him that we don't like standing around for pictures, don't want long shoots and hate being rearranged for ages. He took this completely on board and our couples shots were beautiful and only took about 10 mins!

Discretion - We had a few of those guests with "opinions" and their own cameras who wanted to get their shots in. Phil is very diplomatic and knows how to manage this!

Style of photography - Gorgeous, we love our photos and will treasure them for ever! They are timeless and he got all the tiny details of the wedding that I had put a lot of effort into but hadn't even asked him to photograph. Perfect mix of people and emotions and the decoration and architecture.

Communication - Great communication before and on the day, via WhatsApp

Flexibility - One of my favourite things about Phil is that he is NO STRESS. I was pretty chaotic on the day and a lot of the plans we had went out the window. He just goes with the flow and gets on with whatever he can do in the moment. He didn't pressure me to hurry up and get into my dress because we needed to get certain shots, he just let us do our thing and was there to document.

Phil is a great photographer, very reliable and comes with a pleasant, gentle and calm demeanour during stressful times. Offers way more value than the photos, pre and post event, no task feels too much for him and you feel like it will be safe in his hands. Not to mention busy events are tough for photographers, he did a great job for my engagement- thanks Phil, highly recommend, and will use again!

Phil delivered way more than what we expected and to an incredible standard! He was very professional and easy going, making the whole process extremely smooth! My husband and I chose Phil as our wedding photographer based on his portfolio and our requirements.

Our format was a traditional “British style” registry, traditional Asian “ Banquet” followed by a bar to dance the night away. It was great to have Phil there as he gave us invaluable advice on the more traditional aspects of our wedding (I.e how to set up the tea ceremony to remain traditional but to have our own twist to it). He also really understood us and what we wanted and respected this. We really wanted to spend time with guests at the wedding but we also wanted timeless photos. He was able to perfectly strike the balance.

The photos were beautiful and was returned in the timeframe agreed. We love looking at the photos and timeless memories!

Phil was excellent with everything capturing our special day! He worked tirelessly all day, sticking to our brief. We asked for 'Candid', 'Intimate' and 'Romantic' and we were blown away with both the quality and quantity of the results!
