Anthony was great from start to finish, we honestly can say that he was the best photographer we could have asked for! We went for the 10 hours package and he made us both feel completely relaxed and comfortable. He was always finding new photo opportunities for us on the day! He was amazing and interacted with all our guests and alot of our guests commented afterwards on how lovely and approachable Anthony was- which we could not agree more! When we received our photos, we were genuinely overwhelmed. Looking through them brought all the emotions of the day and all the photos are great and high quality! Thank you for capturing one of the most important days of our lives so perfectly. They say your wedding day is the best day of your life. That is certainly the case, so it makes complete sense to invest in a photographer who can not only capture your special day, but provide you photos that make you feel like you’re reliving it, right? Steve did that for us. He was worth his weight and more in gold. His professionalism, charm and skills were everything we wanted and far far more. He made the day special, ensuring we had all the attention we needed from our photographer, and he went all of the extra miles to ensure our needs were met and he understood us as a couple in the run up to the big day. Though we don’t plan another wedding (duh), we know that the one thing we’d have again is Steve McSmailes doing the photography. His pricing is more than fair, and he accommodated all of our wants, and even met with us for a pre-shoot. He also went above and beyond in getting us our photos, including a sneak peak which was fantastic. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Lucy is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but she is an amazing person and felt like a friend by the end of our wedding. We are over the moon with our wedding photographs and Lucy totally understood our vision of whimsical forest and natural photographs - they truly turned out as the photographs of our dreams! Lucy also made our engagement shoot really fun and she was so creative with her ideas (from getting us both to ride a bike through the forest and playing some Taylor Swift to help us feel relaxed!). We loved our memory stick box of photos and mini polaroid prints from our engagement shoot. We couldn't recommend Lucy more for your wedding day, you won't be disappointed! Thank you Lucy!

Lindsay, you are incredibly talented and so passionate about what you do, and that came through from our very first enquiry with you! You captured our wedding day beautifully, and your warmth throughout the whole planning process made us feel supported and completely at ease. On the day itself you blended in so naturally, perfectly capturing the day and emotions as they unfolded. The photos are absolutely gorgeous and truly something we’ll treasure for a lifetime. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer than Emily for our wedding day. From the moment she arrived, she fit right in and felt like part of the celebration. She was incredibly professional and organised, keeping everything running smoothly while making us laugh and helping us feel completely at ease. It was important to us that our photos felt natural and relaxed, and Emily created exactly that atmosphere. She worked seamlessly alongside our content creator and made sure they worked together to get the best outcome for us. One thing that really stood out to us was how much effort Emily put into capturing our day. Not only was she carrying and working with two professional cameras throughout the day, but she also recorded our aisle walk on her phone because she knew how important that moment was to us. As an extra special touch, she even gave one of our trusted guests a disposable camera to take photos from their own perspective. We thought this was such a unique and thoughtful idea, and it gave us even more memories to look back on. Emily truly goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and to bring your vision to life. When we received our preview gallery, we were blown away. Competitive price easy to contact and book. Professional service on the day great photos and amazing video which was completely unexpected. Came with a drone although the wind on the day reduced its use. But very happy with service would recommend.

We actually found Ryan on the Alt Wedding Directory site and immediately adored his style. Sophie really wanted a photographer who did more than just the normal “everyone stand still and smile” shots, both for the art side of it, and because I hate having my photo taken so having somebody that could put us at ease was important. Ryan was immediately that from the first zoom call. We looked up his social media and were laughing our heads off at his content, so we knew we needed to book him. We were both quite nervous and awkward initially on Zoom but Ryan immediately helped alleviate that, so by the time we met at the wedding it was more like meeting a friend than awkwardly saying hi to somebody you didn’t know. We actually got a few comments throughout the day that people actually thought we’d just asked our friend to take photos because we got along so well! Ryan was already at the venue when we got there, and managed to photograph the last touches of getting ready, as well as our first look. He immediately blended in with everyone, getting several laughs out of my sister and mother(the latter was a feat in itself!) and making everyone so relaxed for all of the photos. My mum’s a bit like me and are both very awkward about having photos taken, but Ryan actually took us aside after hearing my mum ask for a selfie and took some amazing photos of the two of us -my mum looks so happy and relaxed and they're now her background on multiple things so, emotional all round and gorgeous photos! We honestly can’t thank Ryan enough for all his hard work over the day, his photos were perfect and complimented the overall spooky-ish vibe of our halloween wedding - especially when we presented a sword and just said “wanna take some photos with a sword”. The quality of his work and speed of the turnaround of both the previews and the full album was insanely fast as well. So absolutely hire Ryan, he’s absolutely the funniest and kindest person we’ve met across the whole wedding planning process, and his photos are amazing! Wren & Sophie x

Karen is brilliant, she becomes one of the guests and provides a seamless experience from start to finish, blending in with the vibe of the wedding. Karen made guests feel comfortable, laugh, caught them at their highs and kept them energised. She manages to herd family into shots to save you thinking of everything and her packages are incredible value. We had an engagement shoot with Karen and recieved are sneak peaks literally 24hr after the wedding.

From our very first video call with Chris, we knew we were in good hands. He was friendly, down to earth, and so easy to talk to - like catching up with an old friend. He made us feel completely comfortable and gave us full confidence that he really understood what we were looking for and our vision. We actually booked Chris as our very first supplier for our wedding because we knew straight away he was the right fit—and we are so glad we did. On our day, Chris brought such a calm, positive energy that helped us feel relaxed and at ease, especially during the morning when we were getting ready (this definitely helped keep the nerves at bay!). He blended in so naturally and made everything feel easy and never intrusive. He made a real effort to connect with us and our guests, and so many people mentioned afterwards how lovely he was and how comfortable they felt around him. Chris is also hilarious, cracking jokes left, right and centre! Whether it was during the more intimate photos or group shots, he had everyone giggling, which made the whole experience feel fun and relaxed rather than posed or awkward. What really blew us away was our preview album. It’s beautifully curated and captures the whole feel of the day — from the big moments to the little ones we didn’t even notice at the time. It genuinely felt like he was in a hundred places at once! His style is so natural and thoughtful, and he managed to tell the story of our day perfectly. It has made us even more excited to receive our full album! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Chris. He really added to the atmosphere of the day and felt like part of the celebration rather than just someone taking photos. We would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer who’s not only talented, but just such a lovely person to have around on such an important day. Thank you so much Chris! I can't thank Ruairi enough for the fantastic photos of our wedding day. Ruairi was very helpful and knowledgeable on the run up to the big day. On our wedding day he was prompt and fitted in seamlessly, snapping pictures without us noticing most of the time! Several of my guests mentioned how personable he was and complimented his conduct. The edited photographs came through quickly and the slideshow was a great addition to send out to family and friends. Thank you again for the fantastic pictures!
