Hey, I'm Steph, the photographer behind Photoomey Photography! I photograph weddings throughout Devon and Somerset, as well as Bristol, the Cotswolds and the wider South West!

My approach is all about letting you actually enjoy your wedding day. I don't believe your wedding should feel like one long photoshoot, and you definitely don't need to know how to pose. For most of the day, I'll blend into the background and capture everything naturally as it happens: the laughter, happy tears, hugs, reactions, little glances, your guests having the best time and all those in-between moments you might not even realise are happening.

When you do need some help, I'm there. I'll organise your group photographs, give you gentle prompts during your couple portraits and offer guidance whenever you need it, while keeping everything feeling relaxed and natural.

My editing style is bright, colourful and vibrant, with a focus on keeping your photographs natural and full of the personality and atmosphere of your wedding. I want you to look through your gallery years from now and remember not only what everything looked like, but exactly how your day felt.

I've photographed weddings across a huge variety of settings, from countryside barns and manor houses to coastal weddings, registry offices, hotels, outdoor ceremonies and intimate celebrations. Every wedding is different, and that's exactly how I think it should be. I'm not there to make your day look like somebody else's; I'm there to capture yours.

One of the things I hear most often from couples is that they're worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera. That's completely fine! My relaxed approach is designed for couples who want beautiful photographs without feeling overly posed or uncomfortable. You can concentrate on getting married, celebrating with your favourite people and having an amazing day while I concentrate on preserving it.

I also believe the experience before your wedding matters. I'm here to help with your photography timeline, group photograph planning and any questions or worries you have along the way, so by the time your wedding arrives, you know exactly what to expect.

Wedding photography packages are available for everything from small and intimate weddings to full-day celebrations, with packages currently starting from £595 and full-day wedding photography from £1,495. Travel within my usual coverage area is factored into my packages.
