Hi, I’m Josh — the photographer behind Josh Iskander Photography.
I’m a wedding photographer based in Devon, capturing weddings across the UK with a relaxed, natural, and timeless approach. My goal is simple: to create photographs that feel real, look beautiful, and mean even more as the years go on.
Before going full-time in photography, I spent years working as a teacher. That background shaped how I work today — calm under pressure, highly organised, and always focused on people. Weddings can be fast-paced and emotional, and I pride myself on being someone you can rely on to bring a sense of ease to your day.
My Approach
I’m drawn to honest moments over staged ones.
The laughter between friends, the quiet in-between glances, the atmosphere of the day as it naturally unfolds — these are the moments that matter most. I’ll gently guide you when needed (especially for portraits), but for the most part, I work unobtrusively so you can be fully present with your people.
My style is clean, refined, and true-to-life, with a subtle editorial feel. The aim is to create images that not only look incredible now but will still feel timeless in 20, 30, 40 years.
