Eshott Hall is one of Northumberland’s most beautiful 17th century country houses, set in idyllic surroundings with rolling lawns and ancient woodland and is available exclusively for your wedding.
The Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships which can be held in any of the reception room, in the beautiful Reading room situated only a short walk from the Hall or in our new outdoor venues; the Fernery & the Woodland. Smaller more intimate ceremonies can take place in front of the fire in the Drawing Room or Library and larger gatherings often take place on the sweeping staircase, beneath the original stained glass window.
Reception drinks can be held outside or if the weather is inclement in the Library, Drawing Room or Hall. The wedding breakfast is served in the Ballroom; which has five sets of French doors and an Orangery which open onto the gardens and is the perfect room for celebrations. The Hall has been awarded an AA rosette for its food using seasonal and local produce.
All weddings at Eshott Hall are booked on an exclusive use basis which means that the couple booking must agree to book all 17 bedrooms which are unique and individually designed combining contemporary style with traditional furnishings.

Magical Wedding Weekend
Thank you to everyone at Eshott for a magical wedding weekend. It was everything we hoped it would be and the location, the helpful staff and of course the amazing sunny spring weather made it perfect! We love the hall, it’s like home from home, the rooms are gorgeous and the grounds and the Reading Room are so beautiful. Walking down the drive to the ceremony at the Reading Room made it even more special. On the morning of my wedding I opened my curtains to see rabbits playing on the lawn, blue tits flying by singing and the sun shining through the trees – couldn’t have been better! All of our guests loved the hall too so everyone had a fantastic time. We are very happy that we picked Eshott Hall for our wedding and would recommend it to anyone else who would like a picture perfect, relaxed country house wedding in the most lovely county in England.Sent on 05/05/2018

Perfect Venue for a Perfect Day
‘Perfect venue for a perfect day. Thank you so much for all your help, professionalism & outstanding service on our wedding day! Hannah, thank you and the team so much for helping us organise the absolute best day of our lives. The day was absolute perfection, accompanied by some well-timed sunshine. Please could you also thank Lauren, she was an absolute star. The rooms were set up better than we’d ever imagined, the running of the day was amazing, the food was amazing and Lauren was brill, even picking up and sorting Amy’s dress, including the evening too. So many people commented on how beautiful the venue was. We will definitely be recommending it to other potential engaged couples! We hope to see you close to our one year anniversary, for a night away, as our actual one year anniversary will be spent at another wedding. Thanks so much, Love from Rachel & Amy.’Sent on 03/08/2016
