Neil was recommended to us by our wedding planner as we were trying to book our wedding from 400 miles away! We essentially had to plan our wedding completely blind and take a chance on who we chose — and we are so glad we put our faith in Neil.
Neil’s incredible talent and attention to detail speak for themselves when you look at his photos. We were absolutely blown away by what he captured from our special day. Sadly, we couldn’t have all of our friends and family with us, as we chose to get married somewhere sentimental but far from home. That made it even more important to capture every moment to share with our loved ones once we returned.
We received over 900 photos, and somehow Neil managed to capture every single moment — even ones we had missed ourselves! The photos are truly magical and exactly what we had hoped for.
Neil made everyone feel so relaxed, and the whole process felt effortless. We had lots of children at the wedding, which could have easily turned chaotic, but everything ran so smoothly, and we got every photo we wanted — even with the ever-changing weather!
We are so thankful to have those moments to keep forever. We’re absolutely delighted that Neil was recommended to us and that we had the pleasure of meeting him.

We loved having Neil as photographer at our wedding. Very responsive to emails and met us beforehand for a chat. On the day he was friendly and sensitive, and relaxed but professional. He had done work at the venue (Hexham House) before and knew his stuff.
And the photos are gorgeous!! Neil sent a preview the very next day, which was lovely.

The perfect choice!
Neil has taken such beautiful photographs of our elopement wedding that we will cherish forever. He made us feel at ease, allowing him to capture not only the intimate glances and precious moments but also the enchanting scenery of Langley Castle, the magical backdrop we chose for our special day. Outstanding photographer - a must for immortalising your special day
Neil was a pleasure to be around, reassuring and very professional. His work is outstanding, we gave a loose description of how we would like to capture our day… he totally surpassed our expectations. We love our photographs.

Neil is exactly what you'd hope your wedding photographer to be - patient, calm, kind and produces fantastic photos! Neil met up with us a few weeks before the wedding to discuss what we wanted (though we were a bit clueless!) and immediately put us at ease with his calm manner and good ideas. Not only did he take photos of everything we had asked him to on our wedding day (formal photos, our decorations, our guests arriving) but he continuously came up with great shots that we hadn't even considered. He also never got in the way of our guests - at one point he was stood under a coat rail so he was out the way but could keep on taking photographs. The weather on our wedding day was rainy but we are glad we listened to him and he took some amazing photos outside with our castle venue backdrop - though when the wedding dress started to get wet we hurried back inside and never felt under any pressure from Neil. He sent the photographs to us really quickly too, less than a week after the wedding which was really appreciated and exciting! The warmth of the colours he uses adds a lovely style to his photos and the candids feel very natural. Many thanks Neil!!!Neil Denham Photographer's reply:

Firstly, Neil is one of the nicest people we've ever met! It was a pleasure to have him around us on such a significant day. He was calm, gentle and supportive. Most importantly of course, he is a fantastic photographer - he had a brilliant eye for capturing the most special moments of our wedding day, both obvious and subtle. Everyone was pleased with how they looked in the pictures he took, especially us as bride and groom! As a slightly older bride and someone who is not used to wearing so much makeup, I was worried I wouldn't look like myself but I feel the photos show me as youthful, elegant, joyful and genuine. Throughout the whole experience from inquiring about a price to receiving our photos, Neil was great to communicate with, very responsive and collaborative. The turnaround for getting our photos back was only a week as well, which was amazing! It was so exciting to go through them all and we are in love with them as a lasting memory of our magnificent day. If you are at all unsure who to book as a photographer - don't hesitate to choose Neil, we couldn't recommend him more highly.Neil Denham Photographer's reply:
