Paul Gapper Wedding Photography is located in Wimbledon and proudly holds numerous awards. Paul has established himself as an esteemed provider within the wedding industry, he is a leading supporter of inclusion and diversity and has skilfully documented over 400 weddings, many from diverse backgrounds. He dedicates his time to capturing the enchanting moments filled with love, laughter, and tears of joy. He knows where to be at the right time, when to stay in the background and when to step forward to capture those special moments and how to help everyone feel comfortable so he can capture the day in an unobtrusive way.
How it started
Photography is an enormously important part of his life and has been ever since he bought his first camera to travel to India many years ago. It's his passion to create intoxicating imagery, weave captivating stories, and to help create the visual legacy of all of his couples. He gained much of his expertise whilst working for The World Religious Photo Library, where he had to research his subject matter in great depth, which often led to forging significant personal contacts in diverse religious and secular communities. With over 15 years as a wedding, travel, and documentary photographer, you can expect someone who is an expert, knowledgeable, someone who cares, gets on well with people, integrates with your guests and gets on well with your nearest and dearest!
What are weddings?
It's all about good people, good music and throwing a wild party that everyone will remember for life! That's why he will bring an informal style that lets you make the most of it all in the moment. The question he often gets asked is, do you know the couple, are you a friend? That's because he’s basically like an extra guest, just with a couple of cameras and loads of back up equipment of course!
Services Offered
Paul photographs weddings throughout the United Kingdom and offers four-hour and full-day wedding packages. Package features include a pre-wedding consultation, an engagement session, editing and post-production services, an online gallery that you can share with family and friends, and a selection of fine wedding albums.

What does the wedding package include?
A pre-wedding consultation meeting at the venue or a location of your choice. All day coverage, with as much advice on the run up as you need. Pre-wedding engagement shoot, USB & on line gallery

Highly recommend Paul!!
We meet Paul at the Lambeth wedding fair 2023 and I looked Paul up on my hitched app and read his reviews! I messaged him to book him straight away one of the best decisions we made. I felt that Paul is a very relaxed and calm person and did not rush us when he is was taking our pictures. Paul highly recommended doing an engagement photos session and he was right! We were camera shy people but looking at our beautiful wedding pictures I see two relaxed, natural looking couple looking at the camera. We absolutely love our pictures and cannot wait to work with you to put them in our Wedding album. Thank you Paul

Super wedding photographer
We chose Paul to be our wedding photographer after meeting at a wedding fair, and couldn't have been happier with our choice! We got to know him a bit better at an engagement shoot at our venue on a rainy Saturday morning, and he was great at loosening us up and making us appear more natural and have fun with the photos, despite the mud and weather.
On the wedding day itself, his work was exemplary, and he really got the vibe of our day, capturing every minute in a natural, candid way, as well as patiently working through the more traditional staged group shots we wanted.
Paul was a joy to work with for all stages of the planning and the day proper, and delivered our final edited shots right on time. The personalised album and USB in their presentation case are something we will cherish as a reminder of our beautiful day!

The best photographer!
Paul made us both feel so relaxed in front of the camera on our wedding day, we were so relaxed and had the best day not noticing he was close by. The photos came back amazing and our families have are so impressed with the images Paul captured. I would defiantly recommend his work to my friends!

Top quality Photographer
Paul was great from the moment we contact him until the day of our wedding.
Always very responsive and fast coming back to us. Flexible to any request and available to do a site inspection of the venue when it was needed.

Paul captured the whole personality of our wedding and our guests
Paul was an absolute wizard, he managed to capture the personalities and the full character of the wedding day through the photos. Brad and I really wanted to ensure the photos were candid and less staged, and really caught every guest 'in action': hugging, laughing, socialising. Paul has given us memories of a lifetime with our elderly grandparents dancing, our nearest and dearest friends laughing, and our parents having a little cry as we said our vows.
Paul was so professional, and always contactable if we had any questions or requests, and he knew how to make us feel comfortable (despite both being very camera shy!) Couldn't recommend Paul enough - thank you Paul!

Our day was captured in beautiful photographs...
Paul was friendly from the moment we first met. He gave me helpful advice and made recommendations. There was no pressure to hire him. I found him easy to get along with, responsive to my queries and eventually hired him for our wedding. Paul took beautiful pictures without being intrusive during our wedding ceremony and reception. He displayed a level of thoughtfulness and care which came through in our pictures. I would definitely recommend Paul!

Outstanding throughout with amazing quality of photos
Paul is very friendly and professional and most importantly he really listens to what you want out of the final photos. On the run up to the wedding day, communication was excellent with regular emails and a scheduled zoom call to discuss everything in more detail. On the day Paul captured absolutely beautiful photos and moments throughout. The amount and quality is second to none. He was great at helping organise group photos and also very skilled at capturing some of those special action moments throughout. All of the guests commented on his openness and genuine warmth also.

Amazing, professional and great quality photos
Paul is great he would snap away all day getting genuine reactions from ourselves and our guests but also he captured some lovely ‘staged’ photos that we wanted and they have come out better than we expected. Definitely would recommend Paul

Blown away!

Brilliant!
Paul did an amazing job at capturing our wedding day! He was professional, friendly and positive and we are thrilled with the end result. On our wedding day it chucked it down but you could barely tell from the photos - they look amazing! Paul was also really good at guiding us through the day, making sure we got all the photos we wanted. We also really appreciated how he made time to come with us to our wedding venue beforehand to look around for photo locations. Honestly cannot recommend highly enough - thank you Paul!

A fantastic photographer who really helped on the day
Me and my wife were absolutely over the moon with the service we received from Paul. On our wedding, nothing was too much and he really helped guide us through the whole day which really put us at ease. Professional and friendly with all the guests with a smile on his face the whole day. I would highly recommend Paul for wedding photography without a second thought. The websites are now on a well presented website that makes sharing the moments SO much easier with other friends and family.

We highly recommend Paul!
My husband and I hired Paul to take photos at our wedding ceremony and reception on the 24th of April 2023. Even before the big day, he was very helpful over the phone. He even gave us the address to a bakery that could cater to our needs! He proved also to be very personable and attentive to special requests.
On the day of the ceremony, he was both very warm and professional. Taking posed pictures felt very natural and relaxed and he made the whole experience of our wedding feel that much better.
The photos arrived two weeks after the wedding and were absolutely gorgeous: whether posed or candid, all of them managed to convey the wonderful moments of joy, love, and life of our ceremony and reception. Not only did we receive the pictures in digital format, but we also got the higher definition files on a beautiful USB key, along with some physical prints, in a lovely wooden box.
In a nutshell, if you're looking for the ideal photographer for your wedding, we would recommend Paul in a heartbeat!
