Paul Gapper Wedding Photography is located in Wimbledon and proudly holds numerous awards. Paul has established himself as an esteemed provider within the wedding industry, he is a leading supporter of inclusion and diversity and has skilfully documented over 400 weddings, many from diverse backgrounds. He dedicates his time to capturing the enchanting moments filled with love, laughter, and tears of joy. He knows where to be at the right time, when to stay in the background and when to step forward to capture those special moments and how to help everyone feel comfortable so he can capture the day in an unobtrusive way.
How it started
Photography is an enormously important part of his life and has been ever since he bought his first camera to travel to India many years ago. It's his passion to create intoxicating imagery, weave captivating stories, and to help create the visual legacy of all of his couples. He gained much of his expertise whilst working for The World Religious Photo Library, where he had to research his subject matter in great depth, which often led to forging significant personal contacts in diverse religious and secular communities. With over 15 years as a wedding, travel, and documentary photographer, you can expect someone who is an expert, knowledgeable, someone who cares, gets on well with people, integrates with your guests and gets on well with your nearest and dearest!
What are weddings?
It's all about good people, good music and throwing a wild party that everyone will remember for life! That's why he will bring an informal style that lets you make the most of it all in the moment. The question he often gets asked is, do you know the couple, are you a friend? That's because he’s basically like an extra guest, just with a couple of cameras and loads of back up equipment of course!

Paul photographs weddings throughout the United Kingdom and offers four-hour and full-day wedding packages. Package features include a pre-wedding consultation, an engagement session, editing and post-production services, an online gallery that you can share with family and friends, and a selection of fine wedding albums.

What does the wedding package include?
A pre-wedding consultation meeting at the venue or a location of your choice. All day coverage, with as much advice on the run up as you need. Pre-wedding engagement shoot, USB & on line gallery

AMAZING wedding photographer - Highly recommend
We cannot express how thrilled we are with our wedding photos! Paul captured the essence of our special day in a way we didn’t think possible. From our first meeting, Paul made us feel immediately at ease. We had the opportunity to have an engagement shoot which really helped my husband and I to feel at ease in front of the camera, which is so important for those candid shots.
Paul is so friendly and whilst getting ready on the morning of our wedding really helped to steady my nerves by being so kind and accommodating.
Paul’s attention to detail and creativity were evident throughout the process. The photos turned out beautifully and highlighted every special moment and emotion. We especially loved the way Paul captured our friends and family, creating memories that we will treasure forever.

Outstanding photography
We met Paul at a wedding fair and were sold on him straight away. He came across very professional and all of his photographs spoke for themselves.
We emailed him to book him and was met with a prompt response. He is always easy to get hold of and does not mind answering small probably irrelevant questions!!! Before the day we had peace of mind that our photographer would be one thing we would not have to stress about on the day.
On our wedding day Paul arrived promptly before us, and was taking photos the second we arrived. He knew exactly when to take photos and captured so many small moments which could have easily been missed. He was very polite and worked well with everyone at our wedding to make posed shots.
The photographs we have received are beyond beautiful. We are blown away with how beautiful our day looked through Paul's lense. He was quick to provide us with our photos but you can tell he has spent a lot of time editing them subtly.
Paul's prices are also really reasonable. We were surprised we were able to afford such a talented photographer on our small budget. Thank you so much Paul for taking photos which will last us a life time.

Great choice!
We chose Paul for his candid photos, the bright colours in his editing style and because he was a recommended supplier by our venue. We went for the full package that included the engagement shoot, and we would absolutely recommend this. Paul provided excellent post-event service too, and even sent us some lovely gifts which we didn't at all expect! Thank you!

Incredibly fun, real wedding photos, exceptional service
Paul was fantastic from start to finish. Started with a thorough intro call, followed by an on site meeting which was hugely helpful and reassuring for us, as with a LDN location it can be quite complex! Super friendly and we both felt at ease straight away. Photos were incredible and contained all the photos we wanted when we briefed Paul. Cannot recommend more highly! Communication post and pre event was also superb.

Excellent wedding photographer
Paul did a brilliant job as our wedding photographer, he was so professional and managed to capture all of the family photos which we requested in advance, as well as so many candid photos of our guests having a great time. Paul put us completely at ease and had a great eye for capturing a good photo. We had so many comments from friends and family on what an excellent job he did, we really couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much for capturing our special day.

Excellent start to finish!
We found Paul here on Hitched and hired him for our wedding day due to his fabulous reviews. Our experience with Paul was excellent. Paul was really efficient at communicating with us and responded to emails very quickly. Paul met with us a week before the wedding to do some test shots in the grounds of our wedding venue as a run through for the big day and to get to know us a little better. This really made us feel prepared and confident for the day. On the day, Paul was fabulous, and was there photographing every special moment and detail. You never had to search for him, he was always a step ahead. Paul was also the calm among the chaos in the morning during the later stages of the getting ready process and helped to keep us all on track with timings. Overall Paul was so professional and personable. We couldn't recommend him enough!

Paul’s an amazing wedding photographer
Paul was absolutely amazing throughout our wedding day, he made us and our guests feel so so comfortable while he was taking pictures of us, which showed in the final pictures. Both my husband and I aren’t normally ones to take lots of pictures of ourselves, but throughout the planning process he put us at ease by asking us what we’d like to be captured and whether candid pictures were something we’d prefer. He also tested out a few ideas on the day, which we wouldn’t have normally done but the pictures look amazing. During the day his car got caught in the slight flooding of the river, which he successfully rescued, but he didn’t let this distract him and even took pictures of the wedding with just his wet socks on while his shoes dried. Hugely appreciated this commitment! So, I can’t recommend Paul enough, he’s lovely and will be a great photographer on your day.

Amazing guy and 1st class photographer!
Wow what can we say, from the very first point of contact Paul was very easy to talk with and made us feel at ease. Neither of us are naturals in front of the camera, so meeting Paul prior to our wedding, getting to know him and having a pre-wedding photo shoot made us totally relaxed. He is so friendly & professional and captured our day from start to finish perfectly. He took a mixture of shots, including plenty of candid photos, plus some black & whites with pops of colour. When we received our photos we were blown away, we love them all! Paul really captured the happiness of our day! And it’s wonderful to be able to send a link to our guests, ensuring they can download their favourites too.
We would highly recommend Paul - your wedding day is in safe and creative hands!

Brilliant Photographer, Great Photos
We hired Paul just a couple of months before our wedding after having issues with the photographer we had originally booked.
Right from the very first message Paul was very communicative, we instantly new on the first call we had with him that he was the photographer we wanted. Friendly, open and answered all our questions (even the silly ones).
We had an engagement shoot soon after booking Paul, this was a great opportunity to meet Paul and for us to get to know each other ahead of our wedding.
On the actual day Paul was great, other that when we were doing group and couple shots you would not have known he was there. After receiving the photos, we have both wondered just how he got the shots he did with neither of us noticing.
My husband is from Afghanistan and it was important to us to ensure we had some Afghan traditions in our day, when we explained this to Paul and let him know that one of these traditions would be later in the evening he offered to stay later to capture them.
The photos Paul captured are amazing, we have both enjoyed reliving our day through the photos. Paul was also able to get these to pretty quickly.
In short, Paul is fantastic at what he does, we cannot recommend him enough.

Absolutely amazing!
From the moment we stumbled across Paul’s page we knew we wanted him to photograph our wedding. We loved his style of work and could clearly see that he really had a passion for photography . From the moment we spoke to him he made us feel at ease and explained everything really well. On the day of the wedding, he was absolutely amazing. He couldn’t do enough for us! He was constantly fixing the brides hair and dress to get the best photos he could and also made sure he got beautiful sunset photos. Every single guest said how warm, welcoming and how amazing he was at making sure he got around the room and got the photos that we wanted. Then we received the photos 3 weeks after our wedding and we were absolutely blown away we knew they were going to be good, but they were everything we imagined and more. He presented us with a beautiful box with a photo book and a USB Which we can now keep forever . Paul’s attention to detail is unmatched and he really is an amazing wedding photographer. We would highly recommend him If you want somebody that is going to capture every part of your day and make you feel at ease!
