We actually chose Emma-Jane as our wedding photographer before we had even set the date. I had fallen in love with her work and knew that, whenever we got married, I wanted her to be the person capturing our day.

From the very beginning, communication was incredibly easy. She was so helpful throughout the planning process, particularly when it came to arranging the timeline of the day. She helped me understand how to make the most of the light at different times and plan around the moments we wanted to capture, which was invaluable when there were already so many other details to think about.

On the wedding day, Emma and her husband Graham, who joined her as our second photographer, were wonderful to have with us. Having two photographers also meant they could capture different perspectives and moments throughout a day that went by unbelievably quickly.

We’ve only received our preview photographs so far, but they are absolutely beautiful. It’s quite emotional seeing moments that felt like they disappeared in seconds captured forever, as well as little details and expressions we didn’t have the chance to notice ourselves at the time.

I cannot wait to receive the full gallery and relive it all properly. I cannot recommend Emma Jane enough! From start to finish, she was so responsive, took time to listen to what we wanted, and even made suggestions to improve the flow of our wedding timeline. On the day, she just seemed virtually invisible managing to move around in a very non-intrusive way, and oh my goodness, she has captured every beautiful detail from the day! We have the most beautiful shots of every moment with our guests and it’s allowed us to see bits of the day that we missed. And every photo is just sublime it’s going to be impossible to choose a favourite. It was one of the hottest days of the year, and she managed to make us all look very cool despite the heat and she even rescued me with an electrolyte drink when I was feeling a bit faint! I was really keen that the photos of our wedding were not run of the mill and wanted to avoid the usual stock wedding shots. Throughout the whole process Emma helped us find our own style and create something that was really unique to us and produced photos that are more than just visual representations of the day. We now have snapshots of special, funny and genuine moments from our special day. The images she helped us create are really individual and look bloody great too!
