At kåta, we LOVE doing wedding and event photography. Tim is an experienced wedding photographer based in Canterbury, Kent, who offers a variety of packages including photography only packages, as well as hybrid coverage packages. Tim’s approach is very relaxed and is primarily photo-journalistic documentary coverage, so there will be very little posing and lots of candid moments captured throughout the day.
At kata, our goal is to give you not only a stress-free experience, but to also give you a gallery of beautiful images that will allow you to re-live your wedding day over and over again.
Services Offered
We offer a variety of services to make sure that we are able to capture everything you want on your special day, from photography only packages, to hybrid coverage, or coverage with a second shooter.
Hybrid coverage is a blend of photography and video coverage and is becoming an increasing popular package that we offer. Tim will be taking photos as normal, but will also be videoing lots of candid moments throughout the day too, which will then be edited together, giving you not only a full gallery of beautiful photos, but also a 2-3 minute music video of clips taken throughout the day, allowing you to re-immerse yourself in your day as you look back through your gallery.

Hi I'm Tim and I am the person behind the camera. One thing you should probably know about me is that I am hugely sentimental - this really feeds into my photography and means that when I shoot a wedding, I really focus on capturing those moments that will allow you to look back on your special day in the years to come and re-live every moment.
Outside of photography, I just love all things creative. I help run the other arm of kata with my wife which is running creative craft workshops as well as also enjoying playing music in my spare time (when I get some).
