Jonathan was one of the first things we booked for our wedding, a glance through his website portfolio and a teams call with him was all we needed to know that he was the photographer for us!!
Jonathan was such a delight on our wedding day, he was much more than just a photographer he helped with attaching button holes and fluffing my dress to make sure the train looked lovely!!♥️
Jonathan was so friendly with all our guests, we had almost all our guest approach us to say how lovely he was!
He is excellent at putting people at ease when being photographed, I hate my photo being taken most of the time but with Jonathan it was easy and so much fun!! Amazing to have a photographer you can have a real laugh with!!😂
All in all his passion and love for what he does really does shine through in the final product, we have only had our sneak preview so far and they are breathtaking♥️

There will be about fifty thousand seconds on your wedding day. Across a hundred people, that’s a few million moments, from a billion angles, all overlapping and happening at once. And yet somehow to you it will feel as though the whole thing passes in a single click. When it’s over and the guests have gone home, you will be left with the memories you make and the pictures you take and sadly, not much else.

Looking back on our wedding I realise now that more important than the choice of cake or suit or even dress was the choice of who we would ask to weave his way through this mess of a trillion moments and drag the best bits back into forever.

Jonathan was phenomenal. Of course he got the first dance. Of course he got the kiss. Any decent photographer can get a good line-up and force a few ‘candids’ but Jonathan was different; he was like the air itself. He was everywhere yet nowhere, like some kind of omniscient being, emerging where the most joy, the most laughter, the most love was, to seize that one beautiful shot from the perfect angle then dissolve into the background and reappear elsewhere. The toppling jenga, my niece mooning us with her nappy, the heads thrown back in laughter at some now forgotten joke: these are the moments we’ll return to over and over when we think of our wedding day.

Jonathan also gave me the last photo of myself, my Dad and my Grandad together, not long before we lost them both. And after he heard the news, he printed and framed a copy and sent it to me with condolences, which was such a lovely touch. That photo alone would have been worth the fee.

And on top of all this talent, skill and hard work, he is a deeply kind soul. He was so charming and personable at our small Covid wedding that when he returned the following year for the belated celebration (he bent over backwards to accommodate this), it felt like seeing an old friend.

I’m only sorry it took me so long to write this review and give him the justice he deserves.
So, if you’re reading this, please, don’t leave the lens in lesser hands. Let Jonathan take care of it.

My husband and I had a small ('Covid') wedding in May 2021, and Jonathan did a wonderful job as a photographer. Not only when it comes to the quality of the photos (which were superb), but also as a reliable and supporting presence in the lead-up to the event and during it. His love of photography shines through in his work. I would very highly recommend him to any other couple looking for a wedding photographer!

From the meetings, to engagement photos to the big day Jonathan was truly amazing. He really knew what he was doing and really understood what we wanted. He was amazing at his job and felt like an old friend at the same time with his approach - warm, funny, understanding and really got to know us and what style we wanted. All our guests were also so fond of him. We would recommend him over and over and he made our experience even better for us. Would never hesitate to refer and couldnt thank him enough for everything he did!

First and foremost Jonathan's photos are just amazing and speak for themselves! Me and my partner can be very awkward in front of the camera, so having someone who makes you feel completely relaxed was just a blessing.
Very very importantly - Jonathan is just a top guy. So so lovely... we even had friends and family saying how nice and kind he was on the day!
He fit in seamlessly and you barely notice he's there getting the best shots. Silent camera and just rapid round the room! Additionally, he was super helpful, reminding us of a few details, fanning my train to perfection 👌 and getting so many shots we just hadn't thought of - plus just in the moment requests.

His documentary-style photography captured our attention immediately, and his focus on capturing those split-second, non-planned moments has meant that our wedding photos really tell a story of the day, and highlight the variety of emotions that we and our guests experienced.

Choosing Jonathan to capture our wedding day was one of the best decisions we made.

From the beginning, Jonathan was fast in communication, and it was clear that he wanted to get a comprehensive understanding of us as people, as well as the day we were planning, so that his work could be as in-keeping with the theme and our vision as possible. His preparation was very thorough, which was very reassuring.

On the day, Jonathan arrived early and stayed late, putting in a real shift to make sure that all of the important moments from the day were captured. He has perfected the ‘fly-on-the-wall’, unintrusive style of photography. This meant that the moments themselves happened totally organically, and this exactly how Jonathan captured them. Nothing felt staged or forced, and this was very important to us.

As for Jonathan himself, he was so much more than our wedding photographer. He used his extensive wedding experience to guide us wherever we needed it. He was always incredibly friendly and warm to interact with, and many of our guests, including children, commented on how wonderful he was with them. He helped secure the buttonholes for several of the groomsmen, and the groom. He felt more like a friend or a guest, and this was so special to have.

We received the preview shots the week after the wedding, and wow, we’re blown away. Jonathan captured a marvellous silhouette shot of the happy couple which is breathtaking. Even just from these preview shots, we couldn’t be happier with the quality, the style, and the intimacy of the pictures. We’re very much looking forward to seeing the full library.

We cannot begin to thank Jonathan enough for all that he did for our wedding. From the moment we spoke on Zoom up until the day we received our album,
we could not have asked for a better photographer. We found him to be very professional and friendly throughout the process. As two individuals who
find it awkward in front of the camera, we found Jonathan to be very calming and instantly put us ease. From the kids playing in the garden to the dodgy
dancing and surprise Bridesmaid shots in the evening. He captured all the tears and laughs and got some captivating and natural shots that we will treasure forever.

Jonathan photographed our wedding in September 2022. He was more than well-prepared for the job! We had two pre-wedding meetings and a few email exchanges before the wedding and it is clear that Jonathan is very attentive to details. He would firstly look on google street view and then arriving an hour early on the day to look around for great photo spots. He is always observant on the light and where would be a best location for a photo. During photoshoot he has been considerate and well-organised. He would mop away all the water on the floor before the bride stands on it and pays extra attention to make sure that the dress doesn't get dirty. We really enjoyed his service!

What can I say… Jonathan was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding photography.

From the moment I booked him he was super helpful, nothing was too much to ask and the communication was always prompt and really informative. The system he uses for the contract, invoice and photography questionnaire (where you can detail which group photos you would like etc) was so straight forward and easy to use.

Onto the actual wedding day, when he arrived he came to find me in the room, said the hellos and started clicking away on the camera. He didn’t get in the way of the other suppliers and was so discreet when taking the photos throughout the whole day, on numerous occasions we forget he was there, which is more a reflection on his professionalism rather than his personality (he is the loveliest guy)!

On one occasion, my niece and her father were dancing on the terrace outside and I caught Jonathan hiding behind one of our flower pedestals to capture the moment without alerting them to his presence. The style of photos I like and the style that Jonathan is great at is capturing the natural moments of people just being themselves and enjoying the day which is exactly what he did throughout, all without intruding into any moments of the day.

On the shoots with my now husband and I, we disappeared onto the golf course of our venue (which Jonathan had already been and scoped out so he knew the best spots) and we had a really fun time including Jonathan! A little race on the golf buggies and lots of laughs and it was really lovely to have him taking the photos but also as part of the day enjoying it with us.

I am truly grateful that I managed to find a photographer that could deliver on my ‘natural off guard’ photos, who not only made himself so discreet we forgot the photos were being taken, but who we also really enjoyed having there to celebrate the day with us.

If you are looking for a photographer, do not hesitate in choosing Jonathan, I am so glad we did, and if I had to do the day again I would choose him again 100%!
