James Arnia is award-winning photographer based in Nottingham, England,

He captures weddings throughout Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, West Midlands, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, and South Yorkshire.

James first got started in wedding photography in 2008 when a friend asked him to document their nuptials. Since then, he has been hooked, and is excited to be part of your momentous occasion.

James takes an unobtrusive approach to wedding photography. He strives to be the subtle documentarian who creates beautiful pictures of all the candid moments at your celebration. Using his unique perspective, he will preserve all the fleeting instances, like kisses exchanged at the first look or secrets whispered on the dance floor. James will establish the emotional connections between you, your partner, and your guests, and bring all these loving relationships to life.

Fantastic photographer

James was the photographer at our daughter's intimate garden party wedding in July 2021.
From the first message sent to James to the moment we received the wonderful photos, which even had a personal touch, with the memory stick matching the theme of the wedding, he was an upmost professional. fantastic service highly recommended

the service was outstanding and professional and has a good sense of humor and reliable, I would recommend this service to everybody who needs this service and i will be using this service again but not for marriage as I'm married to Steve lol, I would use this service if you do this as family portraits, we are planning a wedding party soon as we could not have this in march due to covid so will be in touch with this in near future

Amazing service for our Wedding!

Me & my wife can’t recommend James enough - nothing was too much trouble and photos produced have been amazing! James was so friendly, and it was a pleasure to have him as part of our big day, he blended in as if he was a guest of ours. James was without a doubt the best value for money in comparison to all of our services on the day.

Capturing natural moments

When looking for a photographer I wanted to capture the moments of the day, not the perfectly planned ones but the moments we will remember and laugh together about in 50 years time. This was achieved and I couldn’t recommend James more, the black and white photos are amazing as well as the colour ones

Amazing Photos

We found James very late in our planning as our photographer fell ill. James was brilliant, almost invisible on the day, I was so unaware of his presence. However, the natural pictures he produced were gorgeous. Captured every detail of the day. The natural expressions of us and our guests were a joy to look at. So pleased we found him! We also transferred our favourite photo into a brilliant Christmas Card. Thanks James. Highly recommended.

He listened to what I wanted and definitely delivered.

So pleased James got in touch with us when I was looking for a photographer for my wedding. He listened to what I wanted and definitely delivered. The photos are absolutely amazing I couldn’t of asked for more. James is fantastic at his job and was a pleasure to work with him, his pictures have definitely captured the spirit of the day. Some of the moments caught on camera were so precious and it was an absolute joy looking through the pictures of our special day to relive them again.

Easy going and very flexible with all the date changes

It was a pleasure having James photograph our special day, he was very easy going and got on with all the guests. Our wedding was postponed many times and he was super flexible with rescheduling. The turn around from the wedding day to the photos being sent (via a lovely flash drive- great little touch) was quick.
