James Arnia is award-winning photographer based in Nottingham, England,
He captures weddings throughout Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, West Midlands, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, and South Yorkshire.
James first got started in wedding photography in 2008 when a friend asked him to document their nuptials. Since then, he has been hooked, and is excited to be part of your momentous occasion.
James takes an unobtrusive approach to wedding photography. He strives to be the subtle documentarian who creates beautiful pictures of all the candid moments at your celebration. Using his unique perspective, he will preserve all the fleeting instances, like kisses exchanged at the first look or secrets whispered on the dance floor. James will establish the emotional connections between you, your partner, and your guests, and bring all these loving relationships to life.

- An A4 Photo Album with up to 100 Photos Me…and only me….covering your wedding adventurePremium bespoke documentary photography anywhere in the country (there is no additional charge for travel or accommodation)

Excellent candid magic
James was an incredible, almost invisible, presence on our wedding day. His pictures speak for themselves, but his actions and behaviours are what make him an excellent all-rounder.
A lovely guy, easy to communicate with, a good listener and responds quickly. On the day itself he was a photography ninja! Unobtrusive and polite but with a definite eye for *moments*. Only when we got the proof pictures through, did we realise how many times he must’ve been around the venue, the guests and captured the little moments we were probably too busy to see for ourselves. The pictures are a lovely range of black and white and colour with a few tweaks here and there to ramp up the magic in places. I’m sure it took a lot of talent to make it all look so effortless! I’d be so happy to work with him again and to find out where he got his incredible shoes from!

Brilliant and genuine
James did an amazing job, kept in communication the whole time and other than a chance to speak to him about his incredible shoes we barely noticed he was there. His photographs are beautiful highly recommend using him!

Perfect candid photographer
Amazing photos! James captured some beautiful natural moments as they were happening and yet you would of never of known he was there! He was very discreet and unobtrusive. He was very friendly keeping everyone at ease when getting the group shots which are great but the ones we didn't know were happening are incredible and gave the right vibe for the wedding as a whole.

Amazing photographer
Absolute pleasure having James as our photographer. Many people commented and asked where we had found such a cool photographer. He was very flexible and accommodated any photo requests we had and then blended in perfectly to get those natural shots.

Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!
James was hired to take pictures of a day full of surprises. He is so friendly, amenable, calm and unintrusive that a couple of our guests asked if we had a photographer. And yet he captured every poignant moment and, many, many more, superbly. It was a a day that demanded a lot from his services and he delivered in buckets. The final resulting pictures are everything we wanted and more.
Firstly I gathered our close family at a ruse restaurant venue to celebrate my birthday. Then I marched them across the road to the register office where my beautiful bride was waiting unbeknownst to any of them.
Ceremony completed and secrecy secured we all went onto the final venue where a further 120+ had gathered waiting to spring a surprise only to be surprised by our arrival as a married couple.
I read a review that was disgruntled about his footwear. James is a snap little dresser and wore multicoloured shoes, but a clown he DEFINITELY is not!!
