James Arnia is award-winning photographer based in Nottingham, England,
He captures weddings throughout Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, West Midlands, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, and South Yorkshire.
James first got started in wedding photography in 2008 when a friend asked him to document their nuptials. Since then, he has been hooked, and is excited to be part of your momentous occasion.
James takes an unobtrusive approach to wedding photography. He strives to be the subtle documentarian who creates beautiful pictures of all the candid moments at your celebration. Using his unique perspective, he will preserve all the fleeting instances, like kisses exchanged at the first look or secrets whispered on the dance floor. James will establish the emotional connections between you, your partner, and your guests, and bring all these loving relationships to life.

As people don’t tend to hire photographers every day I’ve tried to make it straight forward so you know that for one price your photography is covered.
All Wedding Photography Coverage Includes:
- An A4 Photo Album with up to 100 Photos Me…and only me….covering your wedding adventurePremium bespoke documentary photography anywhere in the country (there is no additional charge for travel or accommodation)
- A usb of fully edited and post-processed hi-resolution photographs of the day for you to print and share
- A private online gallery to view and share your photographs
- Pre-wedding chat or Skype meeting to talk through your wedding day plans

Excellent candid magic
James was an incredible, almost invisible, presence on our wedding day. His pictures speak for themselves, but his actions and behaviours are what make him an excellent all-rounder.
A lovely guy, easy to communicate with, a good listener and responds quickly. On the day itself he was a photography ninja! Unobtrusive and polite but with a definite eye for *moments*. Only when we got the proof pictures through, did we realise how many times he must’ve been around the venue, the guests and captured the little moments we were probably too busy to see for ourselves. The pictures are a lovely range of black and white and colour with a few tweaks here and there to ramp up the magic in places. I’m sure it took a lot of talent to make it all look so effortless! I’d be so happy to work with him again and to find out where he got his incredible shoes from!

Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!
James was hired to take pictures of a day full of surprises. He is so friendly, amenable, calm and unintrusive that a couple of our guests asked if we had a photographer. And yet he captured every poignant moment and, many, many more, superbly. It was a a day that demanded a lot from his services and he delivered in buckets. The final resulting pictures are everything we wanted and more.
Firstly I gathered our close family at a ruse restaurant venue to celebrate my birthday. Then I marched them across the road to the register office where my beautiful bride was waiting unbeknownst to any of them.
Ceremony completed and secrecy secured we all went onto the final venue where a further 120+ had gathered waiting to spring a surprise only to be surprised by our arrival as a married couple.
I read a review that was disgruntled about his footwear. James is a snap little dresser and wore multicoloured shoes, but a clown he DEFINITELY is not!!

Stealth Like With Fab Shoes!!!
Looking at our photographs was just like being back in that moment! Our special day was captured perfectly without obtruding, in fact quite stealth like, we didn’t even notice him there clicking away! Very obliging with our requests for certain photographs. James was the ultimate professional from the first phone call to the final product delivery!
The photos of our day were perfect and I really felt James understood our remit and got our vibe! He’s captured our day perfectly and is a lovely guy to boot! And we even shared our love for favourite band with him.

Amazing great guy does a great job
James was perfect for our wedding, even though we had a rainy and very wet day James still managed to get the guests out in the rare spots of sunshine. he was very professional, extremely good value for money. i forgot he was there half of the time, but managed to capture all moments. it was a pleasure thank you so much for creating perfect snaps of our perfect day

The best photographer
Can’t recommend James Arnia Photography enough. He really managed to capture the feel of the day without anything feeling posed or forced even with the specific photos we requested. Half the time I forgot we were being photographed at all which made everything much more relaxed. It means we have some amazing photos we will treasure for the rest of our lives. On top of that our photographer was just a lovely person which I think is really important for someone who is going to be a part of such an emotional and personal day.

Relaxed and Friendly Photography

Professional & Relaxed with incredible results !
Everyone at our wedding was so comfortable being photographed, probably because nobody noticed that we were. James was very professional, relaxed and easy to approach with specific photo requests. We honestly could not be happier with the photograph's. Can't recommend highly enough !!

Wow what can I say. A lovely guy who did the photos for my wedding. He took photos of all the groups I'd asked for and got some great pics of my little 2 Yr old boy who was trying to steal my limelight lol. I'd def recommend him to any1 that's wants a great photographer and some1 who's very down to earth
