Hi! I’m Harriet, owner of Harriet Bird Photography.
A cat-loving, tea-drinking wedding photographer based in South Devon.
If you’re a laid-back, down-to-earth, fun-loving couple looking for colourful and creative wedding photography, then you’re in the right place!
I pride myself on this being a safe & inclusive space. I make no assumptions and welcome everyone with open arms.
My couples all say I put them at ease, and I think that’s down to my ‘don’t take life too seriously’ outlook. We often have a giggle and just get on really well, which helps a lot! No awkward poses here, thank you very much!

What does the wedding package include?
I have various wedding photography packages starting at £1500 for 6hrs. I have pricing options for different durations of time and can create a bespoke quote too. Get in touch to request my brochure!
How far in advance should I contact you?
As soon as possible, but I sometimes have last minute availability too so anytime!
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, i will travel anywhere but my main area is Dorset down to Cornwall (I am based in South Devon)
What is the charge for travelling?
First 50miles included, then 60p per mile

Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
I have a very relaxed approach. I do a lot of prep work so you can focus on enjoying your day. Around 90% of your day is me just capturing the day as it happens, and 10% group shots & couple portraits
What kind of equipment do you use?
Sony A7iii plus prime lenses and flash for evening dancefloor
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, you will receive an online gallery to share with family & friends

Unforgettable engagement shoot!
Fantastic experience doing our engagement photoshoot with Harriet - super fun and she was great at giving direction to elevate the photos! Best decision we made for our wedding!
Harriet was a complete godsend both before our wedding and on the day itself. Her perfect mix of bubbly joy and professionalism made me so excited to see her when she turned up on the morning of our wedding for getting ready pictures. From there, she was an absolute superstar - somehow everywhere all at once, capturing the big and small moments throughout our day. The photos speak for themselves; they are STUNNING and encapsulate the joy and love of the day so well.
