Eyecandy Photography & Film are a Devon-based wedding photography and film team who believe the best wedding photos don't look like wedding photos. No stiff poses, no forced smiles, no couples awkwardly standing in front of things. Just real moments, beautifully captured — the laugh that caught you off guard, the look between you two that no one else noticed, the chaos of the dancefloor at 11pm.
Gareth and the team work quietly in the background, getting close enough to catch the details without hovering over every moment. Couples consistently say they forgot the camera was there — which is exactly the point.
Based in Exeter and covering weddings across Devon, Cornwall, and beyond, Eyecandy shoots everything from intimate countryside elopements to full barn blowouts. The approach is the same regardless of scale: turn up prepared, stay out of the way, and come home with pictures that actually look like you.

Captured the best day with incredible detail!
We were so lucky to have some incredible pictures from our wedding thanks to the great knowledge and Gareth's eye for detail! Was so relaxed and felt really natural in front of the camera!

10/10 - fantastic memories captured perfectly.
We can’t recommend Gareth highly enough. He talked us through our day and made suggestions for photos that might look good beforehand. He worked tirelessly on the day to capture everyone and everything he could. He sent out a couple of shots straight away and then when we received our final photos we were so pleased: he has captured the mood of our day perfectly. Everyone was at ease with him and had so much fun. He caught all of the bits that we didn’t get a chance to see!

So pleased we made the right choice!!!
We are so thrilled that we made the decision to hire Gareth at Eyecandy. Its not just his amazing artistic flair that makes him so special but also his warm nature & extremely helpful manner. The day couldn't have went any smoother for us and this was greatly down to Gareth's ideas and calming nature. Gareth seems to go beyond the usual photographer duties by insuring everyone is relaxed and has everything they need from start to finish. He is also extremely passionate about his work and gets really excited when he gets a good shot :) I think this makes such a huge difference and made it even more so a pleasurable experience! We also Hired Joe Venton to do our Video and these guys make the most awesome team. Both wonderful 100% recommend!!

Gareth was exceptional and we couldn’t recommend him highly enough. Incredible! From the moment we booked him, he made us feel very important and was flexible with our work/family commitments. He gave up time willingly to do a pre-wedding shoot, which really made us feel at ease and get to know how he works. Our wedding day photos are exceptional and we are so pleased with them, giving us images that we will cherish forever - but images of high quality! Not only does Gareth provide high quality photography, but he is also such a nice guy, bringing humour and kindness to the experience. It was great to have him at our special day - he was like one of the family!
Myself and my wife will forever be in his debt for the service he has provided. 10/10 and couldn’t fault any part of the service he provided. I would also strongly recommend the videography by Joe Venton - exceptional.

Everything we wanted and more!
Gareth totally exceeded our expectations with our amazing wedding photographs. He understood that we wanted the focus to be more so on candid shots which he captured brilliantly - he was never intrusive and most of the time we didn't notice where he was! He got some incredible shots of us (a lot of which we didn't know were being taken!) which is exactly what we wanted. He understood our style from the get-go and we're thrilled with the outcome of our photos. He was able to capture the most special moments of the day and had some really unique ideas which we both loved. We couldn't recommend him more!

The whole package!
Gareth is an exceptional photographer who not only very talented but is easy going, friendly and blended in with our guests putting everyone at ease! His skill and enthusiasm is second to none and he clearly loves being able to capture the most special day of your life. The advice he gave us on the day made us laugh and kept us calm and he got to know us as a couple so the photos he captured were truly individual to us and our personality. He also appreciates Star Wars, which was a bonus!

Absolutley Brilliant
From start to finish Gareth was amazing and so easy to contact. We had an engagement shoot which made us feel at ease ready for the big day. Fast forward to our wedding, Gareth got all the photos we ever wished for an more.
Everyone commented on how friendly Garerh was and they thought he was part of the wedding party.
Gareth left us around 9.30pm I believe and by the time we got home at 1am we had a few photos sent to us already!
The service was 2nd to none and we were receiving updates and pictures up until he sent us the full batch.
We loved Gareths photos so much that we even had him back a year later to take photos of our sons Christening.

Perfect and professional
We heard of Eyecandy through a friend and arranged to meet for a chat and to see if he was a good fit. Turns out Eyecandy was the glass slipper for our fairytale wedding. Whatever we asked was no trouble at all, great with kids, great with all the guests and the photos are absolutely stunning. We have also booked Eyecandy to shoot our daughters christening 2 years on. Couldn't imagine having anyone else!
