Confetti Chasers is a documentary wedding photography studio based in the North East of England, covering Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, and beyond. Founded by Karl Pijnen, who has photographed close to a hundred weddings across the region and knows the venues, the light, and the pace of a North East wedding better than most.

Every booking includes two photographers as standard. No extra charge, no upgrade needed. Two sets of eyes covering every moment of your day simultaneously, so nothing gets missed. Karl edits your full gallery himself and delivers it within a week of the wedding, usually sooner. Most photographers take four to eight weeks.

The approach is documentary. No posing, no organising groups of guests, no pulling you away from the moment. Karl and his second photographer watch for what is already happening and photograph it before it is gone. The result is a gallery that looks like your day actually felt, not a set of staged portraits.

Pricing starts from £125 per hour with no artificial package limits. Every couple also receives a complimentary pre-wedding shoot and their full RAW files included as standard.
