I’m Caroline, the photographer behind Caroline Nixon Photography Ltd, offering natural and relaxed wedding photography across Berkshire & beyond.

I’ve been photographing weddings since 2018, and one thing I’ve learnt is that most couples don’t want to spend their wedding day posing for photographs — and you really don’t have to.

My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive, capturing your wedding as it naturally happens with a little gentle guidance when you need it. I’m there for the big moments, of course, but also the laughter, hugs, happy tears and all those little moments happening around you that you might not even notice at the time.

I’m also more than happy to be an extra pair of hands on the day. Whether that means attaching a buttonhole, helping with a last-minute wobble or working alongside your venue and other suppliers to keep things running smoothly, I’m there to help rather than take over.

Based in Berkshire, I photograph weddings throughout Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Hampshire and further afield. From intimate registry office ceremonies to full-day celebrations and weddings that do things completely differently, I love photographing days that genuinely feel like the couple.

Since starting Caroline Nixon Photography Ltd, I’ve received some lovely feedback from my couples as well as industry recognition, including Loverly 2026 Best of the Best Wedding Photographer and Wedding Photographer of the Year in the Corporate LiveWire Global Awards 2026/27.

For me, the most important thing is that when your wedding is over, you have photographs that take you straight back to how it felt.
