Hi! I’m Ali, a photographer based in South Notts, but hapy to and do travel across the country and abroad — when it comes to weddings, I’m all about telling your story your way. No stiff posing, no awkward instructions — just relaxed, natural photos that capture the real feel of your day. I’ll be there catching the glances between you while you’re saying your vows, the kids running up the aisle or sneaking sweets under the dinner table, friends reunited and belly laughing, and those quiet moments between guests that you might miss while you’re off catching up with someone else.

I work in a candid, relaxed way, with an eye for the little details that make the day uniquely yours. I want your gallery to feel like you were right back there, soaking it all in again — the hugs, the tears of laughter, the chaos and the calm.

When your gallery lands, you’ll probably find I’ve included what some might call “too many” images. And yes, that includes the occasional ones that aren’t quite pin-sharp or perfectly framed — because sometimes those are the ones that hold a little magic. There might be a face in the background that means the world to you, or a fleeting moment that would’ve otherwise been forgotten. You can always skip past them — but I’d rather give you the choice.

If you’d like some family or group shots, I’m really happy to guide you through those — gently posed, nothing too formal or faffy. What you won’t get from me is big lighting setups or studio-style posing. I prefer to keep things natural and fluid — though I might whip out an off-camera flash if it’s getting dark! But your first dance? I’ll photograph that as it happens, without turning it into a staged light show.

That said, if the sky decides to throw up an epic sunset — don’t worry, I’ll grab you and we’ll go make the most of it! I just prefer to work with the light and the setting as they come, rather than carting around loads of kit.
