Dynamic duo Nigel and Christina have over a decade of experience and enjoy crafting a relaxing, calming photography session for every happy couple. With their creativity and your love story, they can craft a photo album that's personal and professional.
Services Offered
2tone Photography is proud to use an array of techniques to capture your day in the most remarkable way. These styles range from photojournalistic to artistic. Once Nigel and Christina understand your love story and aesthetic, they will be happy to travel to your wedding venue with plenty of time to spare. They will focus on capturing your vow exchange, speeches and first dance from various angles. After your celebration, Nigel and Christina will offer edited images via an album, online gallery, or USB.

What does the wedding package include?
2 photographers - Nigel and Christina Davison. Coverage from getting ready to after your first dance. Your edited files on a USB. Online viewing gallery with download, and the option to buy albums
How far in advance should I contact you?
As soon as you are able. We typically book around a year and a half to two years in advance
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No

Yes, the North East and North Yorkshire
What is the charge for travelling?
There is no charge for travel within a 50 mile radius of Stanley, Co. Durham

Our aim is to capture photographs that reflect you and your friends and family’s personalities in a one-of-a-kind, unique, and creative way
What kind of equipment do you use?
We use professional-grade Fuji cameras and lenses, along with flash guns and modifiers for creative effects. We also have backup equipment - just in case!
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, you will have use of our password protected online viewing gallery, which includes high resolution image downloading, and an online shop
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

We do not charge for additional coverage unless it is for another date. We do however have a cut-off time of 10 pm
What are the forms of payment?
A Booking fee will secure the date, with the balance due four weeks before the wedding. Installments can be arranged if needed

Truly amazing team
We met Nigel and Chrissie and their relaxed calming influence instantly made us want them for our wedding photographers, Wee got married at Lumley Castle 23/8/2025 and cannot praise these guys enough, not only absolute professionals but helpful and very calming on the day, they managed to capture every detail perfectly on our day and we cannot recommend them highly enough, what a truly amazing team! Bridgerton-esque Perfect Wedding Day and Wonderful Photographers
My husband and I got married on July 12, 2025 at Beamish Hall Hotel in Stanely, United Kingdom. We live in Dallas, TX and were recommended to these photographers by our wedding venue (Beamish Hall Hotel). I traveled to England September 2024 to see the venue and meet Chrissie and Nigel. From our first meeting over a cup of tea, Chrissie and Nigel brought such a level of comfort, security, and care through walking me through how the wedding day itself would go. They were extremely organized with a Google Photography Document that was easily shared with every photo and style of photo we would want. On the actual day of the wedding, Chrissie and Nigel truly showed their technical prowess and love for their work. From the first moments of getting ready to the afternoon family photos to the disco--Chrissie and Nigel showed an impeccable level of care not only for their work but also for my husband, myself, and my family. They were extremely calm, fun, funny, and creative. I could not have imagined more professional yet down-to-earth photographers. I will add photos to the review once we get them from the duo, but I have no doubt we will LOVE them!
