LAV Hair was amazing from start to finish! I booked my winter wedding for within the year and I was so lucky she was available. Everything was simple and Lauren kept in touch throughout the year. My trial was perfect and just what I wanted. The wedding day itself was seamless. Lauren always made me feel like I was the only person that mattered and focused completely on me. She has an incredible skill set. My bridesmaids and my mum loved their hair so much. My bridal hair was perfect. Honestly couldn’t get any better than LAV!

Sally did mine and my bridesmaids’ hair and we all loved it! Sally was so friendly and made us all feel so at ease on the morning of the wedding. The hairstyles were beautiful and I’d definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Thank you so much Sally!

Tara is absolutely amazing at what she does! I woke up with 2 fat eyes due to an allergic reaction to my eyelashes but she kept me calm and assured me that she’d fix it and I had every trust in her! She made us all feel amazing on the big day and can’t thank her enough!

I was lucky enough to find Jessica through Hitched while planning our wedding from 400 miles away — we were essentially organising everything completely blind! I’m so grateful I found her. Jessica really listened to what I wanted and never tried to persuade me into something else (as many makeup artists do). She made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. Even in the areas I’m most self-conscious about, she completely transformed me, and I was so happy with how it all turned out. My makeup lasted perfectly the entire day — I only had to touch up my lipstick! I’m quite self-conscious about my skin, and unfortunately, a few stress spots appeared on the morning of the wedding, but somehow Jessica managed to cover them, and my skin looked flawless. Her incredible talent and attention to detail speak for themselves when you see her photos. She was also so accommodating — managing to fit me in for a trial during a quick visit, and even when I changed my mind about what I wanted on the day, she delivered exactly what I’d envisioned. I booked Jessica for both my makeup and my cousin’s. We wanted completely different looks, and she achieved both perfectly. She was always brilliant at responding to messages in the lead-up to the wedding and even recommended products for us to use on the day. I honestly couldn’t have asked for more. I’m so pleased and grateful I had the privilege of booking Jessica for my wedding makeup.

I found Becky on this very website and I am over the moon with my wedding makeup. From the trial to the big day, Becky was amazing with her communication, her kindness and her incredible skills. She is a true artist who listens to exactly what you want whilst also being SO kind and understanding. My skin has never looked so good and it was worth every penny and more for how I looked on my wedding day. The makeup was still on my face at 2AM and the foundation still looked flawless. She also did my mother’s and maid of honour’s makeup that day who also looked exceptional. Becky made my morning of my wedding so relaxing and fun, thanks to the trial she knew exactly what to do and I had so much fun having my skin massaged and my final touches done when my dress was on! Becky became such an important part of my day and should I ever have another event I would book her in a heartbeat. A true star of the North.

A huge thank you to Andrea who was so professional on my wedding day. My partner and I wanted a really small wedding so only my hair and makeup was required. I was so lucky as a lot of bridal hair and makeup artists will only do a wedding party. She made me feel so beautiful and gave me great advice when I had my trial. Would thoroughly recommend.

Recently had hair and makeup done for my wedding by Zoe and the service was second to none! Very approachable and extremely talented at what she does. Zoe did hair and makeup for 4 of us in total and we couldn't fault anything, the touch up kits provided were a brilliant idea and certainly came in handy keeping us looking our best throughout the night! Leanne really is amazing at what she does, I’ve been to Leanne for occasion makeup multiple times over the years so I’ve always had the upmost confidence in her but she really takes bridal to the next level! I was so pleased with my trial we kept pretty much everything the same and I just trusted Leanne to do her thing and I’m so pleased I did. Even for my wedding makeup the whole look was just another level and I didn’t think she could get any better?! On the morning of my wedding she arrived on time, worked to a schedule and was so efficient and calm - exactly the vibe you need on the morning of your wedding! Not only did she make me feel amazing all day but she also made my bridal party all feel and look incredible too and for that I’ll always be grateful. They absolutely loved her! I really cannot recommend Leanne enough!
