Ross was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From our first conversations, he was friendly, professional and genuinely excited for our wedding, which made us feel completely at ease.

On the day itself, he blended in so naturally that half the time we forgot he was there, yet he managed to capture every important moment. He was brilliant with our family, friends and our dog, Gus, and helped keep everything feeling relaxed and stress-free.

We got married on 31.12.2025 at The Blackhorse and had Richard and Courtney from Lux as our photographers (with videographer, Photo Booth and audio guestbook too) — and honestly, they were fantastic!
From meeting them at a wedding fayre back in February 2024, we knew straight away they would be the photographers for us. Richard completely understood the vibe we wanted and made us feel so relaxed from the start. On the day itself, they went above and beyond in ways we would have never expected. They aren’t just there to take your photos, they were both there to make our day as special as it could be, and they did it!
When we were let down last minute by a supplier for garden games, Richard arranged arcade games and had them delivered to the venue within minutes. When my niece struggled with the noise, he even offered to get her noise-cancelling headphones. So many of our guests commented on how amazing, friendly and helpful they both were throughout the day.
And the photos… wow. We received our digital album last weekend and they are absolutely incredible — better than we could ever have imagined.

We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer than Ross! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make our day perfect. He was incredibly organised, professional and made us feel completely at ease. When my dress zip wouldn't go up and I started to panic, he even stopped what he was doing to help - that's just the kind of person he is.

As a couple, we're awkward in front of the camera, but Ross made the whole experience so relaxed and fun. His guidance was amazing, and somehow he captured the most beautiful, natural moments that we'll treasure forever. He even stayed later than planned so we could have a private last dance and some final photographs, and our trip to Kelvingrove resulted in the most breathtaking images.

We used Lux Wedding Photography for our wedding in August 2025. We had a fantastic experience with Richard and the team! Richard was prompt with communication and met us at the venue before the day to plan everything, so we were confident that he knew what we were after.
On the day we opted for two photographers, videography and photo booth through Lux and we're really glad we did. They captured the day perfectly. We were keen not to miss too much of the action during the day, so Richard and the team were great at minimising our time away for photos whilst also capturing fabulous moments. Richard and the team coordinated seamlessly with our venue on the day, so we didn't have to worry about anything! We would highly recommend Lux!

We had a Richard and Ash capture our recent wedding, we were very nervous about being photographed and filmed,but from the very first call Richard made it relaxing and easy. On the actual wedding day they blended in so well we hardly knew they were there. Even on the photos that we needed to pose for, we were made to feel at complete ease. Courtney did my wedding photos in November 2023 and did an INCREDIBLE job! My bridesmaids still bring up how much they loved my wedding photographer, Courtney, because she was quick, told you exactly what she wanted/needed, “got sh*t done,” and still let us have so much fun. We would have been lost during planning without Richard as a sounding board to recommend an amazing DJ, florist, cake maker and make timeline suggestions.

If I could give LUX Wedding Photography more than 5 stars, I would! WOW! Richard and Courtney were phenomenal, they captured every moment and didn't miss a beat! They had fun, shared laughs, and were a huge part of our special day! They interacted with our bridal party and guests throughout the whole night. LUX Wedding Photography are amazing! From beginning to end the service was fantastic. Courtney was highly responsive to emails and open to ideas and my visions for our wedding day photos. Courtney made it extremely easy the day of and she took initiative to be sure we were on time all day and that everything flowed. She was more than just our photographer! We are so happy with all of our photos, and they were available for viewing much faster than others from what I have heard from other brides!
