It's taken a bit of time to write this review but it is worth the wait. One month after our wedding I have been out at an event with a group including some people who were guests at our wedding. First thing they said to me:

"Your wedding was absolutely banging. And that is thanks to the DJ and his amazing pick of a playlist".

Music is so important to set the atmosphere and Matthew was brilliant at choosing exactly the right songs to play at the right time.

We were an older couple so the wedding did not comprise 20-somethings. As I said to Matthew: No point in playing Taylor Swift - it'll just create PTSD for all the dads who've had to ferry their daughters to the concerts this summer.

I had a list of music genres that I knew would not work. But no idea how to pick what would work for the age range. We also had a professional singer doing a few numbers - Matthew and she worked very well together to provide a seamless musical evening. Because of the age range I was terrified that nobody was actually going to be dancing and I had warned the DJ that he might need to be prepared to be playing music to a room full of adults nursing drinks and just talking. I should not have worried - within minutes of the party starting people had spilled onto the dance floor and Matthew had to rapidly readjust his plans to suit.

The music was absolutely brilliant, the DJ showed utmost flexibility in the planning and runup to the wedding. Guests are still talking about it a month afterwards - what greater praise can there be?
