About

The Consuelas are an acoustic duo based in Cirencester who perform at weddings and private events in The Cotswolds! We perform well known songs with an acoustic feel from 80s-modern day (think ABBA to Alanis Morisette, The Spice Girls to Coldplay). We're best suited to drinks receptions and/or ceremonies and are able to take requests with enough notice. We have a range of packages to suit most needs and are available for weddings throughout The Cotswolds and surrounding areas.

Lead singer Charlie has been performing for over 15 years and is your main contact throughout the booking phase and in the lead up to your big day, and is happy to answer any questions you may have.

Guitarist Paul has been playing professionally for 20+ years and well as joining Charlie for wedding receptions, he also performs in an evening party band called The Groovemores! His repetoire is extensive and there's not much he hasn't played and can put an acoustic twist on!

All prices are inclusive of VAT, travel and song requests (we just ask that you don't overload us as they take time to learn!)

How far in advance should I contact you?

We suggest 6-18 months but please do reach out outside of these timescales and we will do our best to accommodate

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?

Yes absolutely! We suggest keeping requests for those extra special moments like walking down the aisle, signing of the register or your first dance!

What's your experience?

We have been performing together for over 10 years and LOVE performing at weddings. The atmosphere is always so special and it truly means a lot to be part of a couples day

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

No

Can you travel?

Yes, the Cotswolds primarily (Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire)

Is there a charge for travelling?

No

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

No

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

Alone

What is the length of time of the act?

Variable to suit you but we usually suggest 1.5-2 hours during your drinks reception

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

1 hour maximum

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

As we are more of your day time band we don't tend to eek too much into your evening so it's not a huge problem. If the day is running late by 30-60 minutes it's not a problem!

What are the forms of payment?

25% deposit is required to hold your date and the remaining amount is required 14 days before. Payable by BACS

Wonderful Atmosphere

I saw the girls sing at a friend's wedding, they were exceptional, very varied repertoire, somethingfor everyone. Wonderful and so lovely to engage with between sets as well.

The Best Singing Duo!

Charlie and Charlotte were at a recent wedding we attended and my gosh they were so good!

They Sang during the walking down the isle and it was so Lovely to see live singers instead of music playing.
They are were then playing at the reception and it really got everyone going for the evening!

Highly recommend these ladies!

The perfect entertainment for a party of any size. From serenading your walk down the aisle (either way) to packing out the dance floor, they’ve got you covered! We will be using them for everything from now on.

Wow, These Girls ✨

The two Charlotte’s were the cherries on top of our incredible day.
It is so difficult to find vocalists/ musicians that are as talented as these ladies and they really are a must have for your special day.
The Consuelas performed for our guests whilst they were being seated, performed my walk down the aisle request and whilst we sipped our drinks and nibbled on canapés.
They also hung on to sing a final song before we all took our seats for the wedding breakfast.
No song we requested was out of the question and they were happy to learn anything that wasn’t already in their vast repertoire.
Accommodating, smiley, professional and above all sounded amazing.
Can’t wait for another excuse to have you perform for us again.

Beautiful voices.

Went to a friends wedding, and have also seen these ladies at another event. Beautiful voices and a wonderful selection of songs sang. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful Acoustic Music

The Consuelas provided the drinks reception music for our friends wedding and they were incredible. Everybody I spoke to shared the same compliments on their vibe; dreamy, acoustic, enchanting, mellow, beautiful music. The bride and groom shared that not only was their performance exactly what they wanted, the duo were easy to deal with when booking too. 10/10 recommend, over and over again.
