Meet the team
My journey as a DJ began at 17, as a resident at a nightclub in my hometown of Alnwick, Northumberland. Alongside spinning tracks at various local venues, I also launched my own radio show on community station "Lionheart Radio."
Soon after, I invested in mobile disco equipment and quickly became a highly sought-after presence on the North East scene, playing at some of the region's most exclusive venues.
A few years later, my path evolved. In addition to mobile discos, I took on the management of "Hedfone Party," a silent disco company under the umbrella of Marvellous Festivals. This exciting opportunity led me to relocate from Northumberland to Winnersh, Berkshire, where I focused on orchestrating large-scale silent disco events.
Inspired by the reputation of Marvellous Festivals, I created Marvellous Disco, a mobile disco company serving the home counties, with their kind permission. Over three years, I built a stellar reputation, delighting countless clients at diverse venues and events across the South East.
My career has offered some incredible highlights, including DJing at the Geordie Shore house in Newcastle and for a "gypsy wedding" featured on Channel 4. Beyond the decks, I even had the unique experience of becoming the voice of "Big Brother" for a day, going backstage to chat with housemates via the diary room – a truly amazing experience!
In June 2013, thrilling news arrived: I was going to be a dad! While I cherished my time in the South East, my heart remained in the North. I decided it was best to raise my daughter, Luella (now 11!), closer to family, making those occasional babysitting gigs much easier! For this reason, Marvellous Disco has been thriving back in the North East since 2013.
Since returning, the business has flourished. I have the pleasure of regularly DJing in stunning North East locations such as Alnwick Gardens and Castle, Doxford Hall, Newton Hall, and Ellingham Hall, among many others.
I'm committed to providing an exceptional experience, constantly upgrading my equipment to deliver a fantastic sound and light show. I take immense pride in offering great value to every client.
In 2022, I was thrilled to be nominated for a North of England Wedding award by a grateful couple, and even more delighted to win "Best Wedding DJ" in October of that year! I was also proud to be a finalist in 2023 and I once again won "Best Wedding DJ" for a second time in 2024!
