James played piano for us throughout our wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast. (5/11/25).
He took the time to learn and entirely new song that we had asked for to walk down the isle to.
The music was beautiful, with a mixture of songs that all guests recognised and enjoyed, even including a little K-Pop Demon Hunters number for the children at our wedding!
James has a friendly and welcoming personality and everybody enjoyed him being there!
He made our day absolutely perfect!

James Hey Piano - just amazing!!
Myself and my husband would recommend James Hey Piano without any hesitation! We asked him to play songs that weren’t on his play list and he learnt them especially. He added a touch of class to our ceremony and wedding breakfast. James played a variety of music at our wedding breakfast from Oasis to Beyonce to music from Game of Thrones! All of which went down really well with our guests. When we are catching up with friends over a month after they are still making comment about how good he was.
Thank you James for being part of our big day and for making it so special.

We were incredibly lucky to have James Hey Piano perform at our wedding, and I can’t recommend him highly enough. From the very first email, James was professional, warm, and completely in tune (no pun intended!) with the kind of atmosphere we wanted to create.
They played during the ceremony and during reception drinks and their music truly elevated the entire experience. Their performance of our chosen processional song brought me to tears, it was heartfelt, beautifully paced, and flawlessly played. Throughout the event, the music was the perfect emotional backdrop without drawing focus from the moment.
Guests kept coming up to us all evening asking where we found such a talented musician. James also handled a few last-minute changes with total flexibility.
If you're looking for a pianist who brings both technical excellence and genuine emotion to their playing, look no further. Having him there made our day feel even more magical. -

We booked James originally just for our ceremony. After meeting him at a wedding open day at our venue, we walked away booking him for additional services to be there on our day longer... and he did not disappoint! Such a nice guy and so easy to get on with. Played beautifully and caught the attention of all our guests and even took on a couple of requests to make our day even more special. James performed our ceremony music & wedding breakfast music last Saturday and from start to finish James was a pleasure to work with. He invited us to his home to go through music we liked and to see what best suited our wedding day vibe. He is so talented and can play so many different songs it’s unbelievable. Ultimately our wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without him, he truly made it special. I would 100% recommend and we think he’s such a good value for money. -

Our experience with James was smooth and easy from initial enquiry to him playing for us on the day. He has a huge list of songs to choose from, but also took a request for the brides entrance music which he learnt for us at no extra charge which was very kind. He is a very skilled pianist and I would give him more than 5 stars if I could. Something about live music just hits deeper, so if you are considering for your ceremony or other parts of your day I highly recommend!! -

We met James at a wedding fair at our chosen venue and instantly fell in love with his music! We asked him to play a song that he didn’t have on his list and did this instantly and he was booked! We had great contact with James, was available for any issues we needed answering, had a slight change to our timings but this was no issue.
Listening to the chatter of people while sat eating you could hear the piano through it and it was just beautiful, I commented to the top table how lovely it was to just sit and listen. James was very smart in appearance and played music I had asked for, such as show tunes, soundtracks from films/movies and of course Disney! We couldn’t have picked anyone better to play for our breakfast. Thank you so much!
