Absolutely joyous

Hazaar absolutely made our wedding! Aquara was lovely and very flexible in arranging how the day would go... we ended up having some of the band play at our ceremony as well as the party later on. They are all amazing musicians and also know how to create a wonderful atmosphere and get everybody on their feet and whirling around. It was totally joyous. Thank you!!

I have been playing Klezmer and Eastern European music for the past 20 years. My interest in this rich folk tradition began when I stayed in Greece, where I first encountered the intoxicating beauty of Balkan dance music and song. On returning to England, I pursued this further by studying the Klezmer repertoire and attending the annual Klezfests in London, learning techniques and ornamentation from great teachers such as Deborah Strauss and Alan Bern. More recently, I have immersed myself in Hungarian gypsy music, especially the music and songs originating from the villages of the Carpathian Basin of Central Europe.
