Each A6 watercolour illustration is hand-sketched, painted, glittered, and packaged on the day. Upon arrival, I greet your guests and take quick reference photos of them, so they don’t need to stand and wait while being painted! This also allows me to begin painting right away, through the ceremony. I limit each illustration to two adults to maintain quality and consistency in size. However, children and babies are always welcome to be included in a complete family portrait! It’s a very quick and fluid process, and guests are more than welcome to stop by, watch me paint, or simply enjoy the celebration while I work my magic in the background. My painting process sparks conversations, laughter, and connections, leaving guests with a shared, unique memory and memento.

A little introduction...👋 Hi! I'm Holly, the Lead Artist and Founder of Painted By Powell. I studied Fashion Design, where I discovered my love for fashion illustration and bringing characters to life on paper. While studying, I worked in the wedding industry and fell in love with the magic of wedding days. Now, I get to combine my creative background and event experience to offer live guest illustrations, a personal, thoughtful gesture.
