Oryx Events is a wedding entertainment business in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. Started by Michael and Jemma Crocker-Wilson after their own wedding back in 2021, their hand-crafted lawn games, crazy golf and more are full of rustic charm and perfectly suited to add that extra ‘something special’ to your big day.

We welcome requests at any time during your wedding planning process. Spring and Summer are very popular months for us, so we'd advise getting in touch early if possible

A brilliant touch to our wedding day!
Hatfield House wedding planning team recommended Oryx Events to us as we wanted lawn games during our cocktail reception. Oryx Events offered a great choice of games (ring toss, giant connect 4, giant jenga and bean bag toss), candy and popcorn carts - we hired it all!
Our guests absolutely loved the games (albeit it was extremely hot, which gladly encouraged more cocktail drinking!!), the popcorn and candy carts went down a treat! The games were well presented, and it really complimented our venue.
Dealing with Michael was very easy, the service was excellent and can genuinely advise that this was very good value for money. We had a videographer that captured our guests playing the games and scoffing the sweets and popcorn, which was really cool to see our guests enjoying themselves.
All in all a brilliant aspect of our wedding and would thoroughly recommend Oryx Events, a brilliant touch to our wedding day!

Exceptional company!
We booked Oryx Events after meeting them at a wedding fayre in Nov 22. We loved their company after talking to them both as their products were created for the exact wedding style we wanted, they created them when they were unable to find items for their own wedding. After initially going to book their light-up Mr & Mrs we explored their website and ended up booking everything they had for our wedding: Garden games, light up Mr&Mrs, crazy golf, welcome sign and fully loaded sweet cart. They were the first suppliers we booked and we could not be happier with our choice.
Jemma & Mike were amazing throughout the planning stages, very quick to respond and would help wherever they could - even to my numerous emails changing details along the way! I especially loved that they got in contact a long time before the wedding for the wording we wanted on the sign as it was one thing I could tick off my list and not worry about in the manic period just before the wedding- what bride doesn't love an organised supplier!
We got married in July 24, Mike was there on the day to set-up and reset throughout the day. When we saw the games and other items for the first time at the reception I was sooo happy they all looked amazing! Mike was great being there throughout the day and even moved the letters inside for the evening reception.
All our guests, both the kids and adults, absolutely loved the games and sweet carts, it was the perfect entertainment and our guests have commented that it represented how fun we are as a couple. We even made a highlight of the day for my husband and I to have a golf competition as we often get very competitive at crazy golf.
Overall I cannot recommend Oryx events highly enough, our day would not have been the same without them and they, and their products, were perfect xx

Gorgeous wedding games and decor!
Couldn’t recommend the team at Oryx events enough! They were so easy to work with and very understanding of our vision/ needs for our big day.
We hired a mixture of items including lawn games, candy cart and light up letters - everything came together and looked so beautiful! We had SO many compliments from our guests on the variety of games too - there’s something for everyone ( and especially helpful for keeping the little ones entertained!)
Would book again in a heartbeat!

Great fun games and brilliant service from Oryx!
I'm so glad we booked the lawn games and light-up letters with Michael for our wedding! He got in touch in advance to ask about where we wanted everything so that on the day he was able to set up without bothering us as we got ready, which was so helpful. The games were such a hit with both adults and kids, it was so nice to see everyone get involved together and the variety of games kept everyone entertained all day! I also loved the look of the letters framing the dance floor - they look amazing lit up in the photos! Would definitely recommend Oryx Events to friends!
