Hey, I'm Jen ⚡️ I'm the artist behind The Live Wedding Painter. Based in Hertfordshire, I’ve travelled near and far to offer the best experience for you and your guests, painting live guest illustrations during the most memorable day of your life.
I bring a totally unique flair of entertainment and favours, hand-drawing and painting your guests. They get to keep an exclusive, professional watercolour piece of themselves. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many!
My pop-up studio is both premium and functional, meaning I can be set up anywhere you and your guests go. They'll love the interaction as new paintings are revealed throughout the day, with the chance to watch as I hand paint their luxury pieces.
I also provide a seamless, elegant solution for your guests to upload their chosen images through a bespoke app, allowing them to fully enjoy the day. This adds to the experience like no other.
Here’s how it works:
• I arrive upto an hour early and set up my easel (no table needed!)
• Guests can either pose for their portraits live or submit a favourite photo via my special app
• I paint throughout the day using traditional pen & ink with artist-grade watercolours, no felt tips here!
• As each A4 portrait is finished, I stamp it with your names and date as a keepsake
• All paintings are packaged in clear bags, ready to be taken home as meaningful favours
It’s a joyful experience and a real talking point, guests love seeing themselves pop up throughout the day!

Travel: First 60 miles included. Anything beyond that is just 50p per mile.

An absolute most book
Then comes the big day ... Jen was an absolute hit with the guests .... Jens set up was amazing ... my maid of honour took pictures of the guests we liked painted. The guest loved the paintings , the paintings also doubled up as favours and was a great taking point and Jen mixed with the guests , especially the little guests who were in awe of Jens talent !
I can not recommend Jen enough .. what a unique vibe she brought to our wedding & memories I will cherish for ever! Xx
The perfect illistrator for your wedding!
Once we booked the option we wanted, it was a piece of cake linking Jen in with the fantastic wedding co-ordination, Faye, at Gosfield Hall and then it was out of my hands as they arranged all the details and plan for the day. It was such a relief to have such a reliable illistrator and I didn’t have a moments stress. Jen offered upgrade options and was really flexible and accommodated our upgrade request a month before the big day (luckily her calender was free the next day to allow for it!).
The portraits Jen did of the guests are her own unique art style so it felt very different to other wedding illustrators, which was nice and felt special for my day. The illustrations she provides are a good size too, where others I’ve seen do smaller sized portrait favours.
The guests raved about her work and loved being able to see creating them, as well as take home as a favour. Many guests commented it was one of their favourite aspects of our wedding! One of my friends has just framed and put her portrait up on display, she loved it so much.
I would strongly recommend getting touch with Jen if you’re thinking about an illistrator as she does multiple options to suite different price points and wedding sizes. She also does landscape pieces if you prefer that large scale piece to the portrait favours. If you are at Gosfield Hall, she worked perfectly nested in the corner of the library next to the doors. This works great for both the drinks reception and evening reception!
Incredible wedding entertainment / favours!
So many of our guests commented on how good their illustrations were and it was lovely to see the table updated with new paintings throughout the night. This doubled up entertainment and favours and we started to see profile pictures changing on socials to the portraits almost immediately. This was a real highlight for us and we’d definitely recommend Jen to anyone looking for an illustrator!
