JennyMathew.Art is based in Bedfordshire, specialises in live wedding paintings. Jenny's goal is to continue her artistic journey to capture fleeting moments through her art. Jenny is able to do live wedding painting of the couple's special day or live guest illustrations.
She can create a tranquil landscape of your venue or of impressionistic impasto style bridal bouquet that reminds you of your special day.
Whichever service you decide to go for, you're sure to cherish your bespoke painting forever.
Live event painting, services offered:
- Wedding ceremony - package is focused on the couple and VIP on the day in impressionistic style. Painted with high quality acrylic paint on primed cotton canvas.
- Guest illustration - package for guest illustration using watercolours and inks on A5 size archival watercolour paper.
- Bridal Bouquet painting - package for painting of the Bridal bouquet, with high quality acrylic paint on primed cotton canvas.
Jenny limits her commissioned work each year, ensuring you have her undivided attention. However you choose to celebrate your love, art created by Jenny Mathew will leave you with a stunning keepsake to cherish forever.

What is included in the wedding package?
I offer three different packages and offer different price range depending on canvas size, and length of time required. Please contact for more info!
How far in advance should I contact you?
I can book at least 1 month before the event as short notice, provided the date is available. Contact soon to find out if the date you require is not booked up already!
What other services to you provide?

Are you able to travel?
Yes, all over UK and Scotland
Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, 50 per mile if outside of Bedfordshire. Further than 3 hour journey will require accommodation charge
Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
Yes, yes, shade and protection from wind if an outside venue
How long is the act?
Ranging between 5 hours to 8 hours depending on the type of service/package required
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
I like to arrive at the venue 1 hour before the event starts for live illustrations and 2 hours prior to canvas painting, to set up and prepare for the event

Wedding welcome sign
Jenny was absolutely brilliant in creating the welcome sign for our outdoor wedding .

Very happy, highly recommend, the guests loved the art
We were really happy with Jenny’s art, our wedding guests all spoke about how unique it was, as none of them had seen anything like Jenny’s work at a wedding before. They were all very glad to take something home with them.

We had the most amazing experience with Jenny and her husband who added such a unique and personal touch to our big day! Her paintings of our guests was such a hit — everyone absolutely loved it! The artwork was beautiful, and the fact that each guest got to take home their own personalised painting as a wedding favour was incredibly creative. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how special it made them feel. Jenny and her husband were so friendly and approachable. It was a special touch to the day and we couldn't recommend her enough for anyone looking to add something truly unique to their wedding! Jenny was so kind too and went out of her way to provide me with one extra painting in advance for my dad as a special gift to him. We can't thank you enough! We also loved our A3 portrait of us with some lovely messages from guests who signed it during the wedding. We can't wait to frame it to look back on!

We are so pleased with the paintings Jenny did on our wedding day!
Jenny is truly amazing. She is helpful, flexible, and was attentive to the extra bits we wanted before our big day. Jenny’s communication was excellent, from our initial inquiries all the way through to after the wedding.
Our guests absolutely loved their paintings as favours and it’s so special to have these beautiful keepsakes to remember the day. We also treasure the personal painting she created for us on the day and the stunning picture she painted beforehand (having not met us, just from a few photos!) which we used for our guests to sign on the day.
We were on the fence about booking an artist but once we found Jenny and had exchanged a few messages back and forth, we found she was truly lovely and knew we had to go for it. Jenny is incredibly talented and professional and she was an unforgettable part of our wedding. I honestly couldn't recommend her highly enough!

Surprise gift for Daughter’s wedding day
Friendly, polite and so talented. I booked Jenny for my daughter’s wedding day. All the guests loved their illustrations and they will be a favour they will definitely want to keep as a memory of the day. I loved mine and my husband’s and have ordered a special frame to put it in. The bride and groom’s illustration is so beautiful too. Book Jenny for your event and will be so delighted you did. Worth every penny!

We booked Jenny very last minute as a live illustrator for our wedding in September and it was the best decision we made by far!!
From the very beginning, Jenny was so accommodating and couldn’t have been more welcoming. Nothing was too much of an ask and that is true even to this day (when I have forgotten to get illustrations of important wedding guests).

Amazing artist
Jenny is just amazing. The quality of her work is outstanding and we are so. Pleased we booked her for our wedding day. The paintings that she did on the day and after were individual and of the highest quality. Our guests were amazed and will be booking her for more occasions and work. Thankyou so much.

Simply amazing!
I took a risk to not include ‘standard’ wedding favours and decided illustrations would be something different and I am so glad it paid off. From booking, Jenny was super responsive and so lovely to talk with. On the day, Jenny was there with a big smile to greet guests and take their photo. After the wedding, my parents sadly didn’t get a photo for Jenny to draw, so instead she generously created one from a photo I sent her, and even hand delivered the rest of the illustrations from the day.
On our wedding day, and since, we have had many guests say how amazing this idea was and how brilliant the illustrations are - so easy to tell who is who. People have asked for Jenny’s details and I have happily shared.

Cannot recommend jenny enough for the illustration pictures at our sons wedding absolutely brilliant “everybody said o we love that never seen it before “ don’t hesitate to get Jenny booked for your wedding /party would definitely use again 🙌🙌
