Cathy was magnificent. From the moment we met Cathy we knew she was the one! She is fun, professional and has a wonderful grace and presence.

Cathy took us through the entire process. She helped us craft our perfect ceremony. We asked for a lighthearted and joyful ceremony and Cathy absolutely delivered. She took time to get to know us prior to our big day and we felt so at peace sharing our story with Cathy.

She made the congregation feel so relaxed, and told our love story with a gentle humour and wonderful personalbility. We could not have asked for better! We had countless guests admiring Cathy's professionalism and her ability to capture an audience.

On a personal note, as a nervous groom, Cathy made me feel so relaxed. She had a wee bottle of water ready for me when she noticed a moment when I was struggling to speak. She also saved the entire day when she reminded me to give the rings to the Best Man prior to the service beginning - something, in the excitement of it all, I would have forgotten.

We found Cathy while looking for celebrants in Yorkshire and, after reading through her website, she immediately felt like she could be the right fit for us. When we first met online, there was absolutely no pressure to book. In fact, Cathy actively encouraged us to meet other celebrants and make sure we found the person who felt right, which told us a lot about her from the start.

She understood us as a couple incredibly quickly and helped us create a ceremony that felt completely personal. We were able to weave together elements from both Scotland and Yorkshire, include handfasting, and write personalised vows with her guidance.

When my husbands vows needed adjusting for length, Cathy was completely right in the advice she gave. She helped him refine them without ever making them feel less like his own words, while also reassuring me throughout the process.

Communication was excellent, with thoughtful emails and a final Zoom meeting during wedding week to make sure every detail was in place. When the last-minute nerves arrived, Cathy was exactly the calm, familiar face we needed.

She prepared beautiful ceremony certificates for our relatives to sign and printed our vows clearly so they were easy to read on the day.

Her getting-to-know-you questionnaire was fantastic, asking questions we would never have thought to ask ourselves. The result was a ceremony that felt completely “us”.

Our guests loved her and several people commented how nice the ceremony and Cathy were! We would recommend Cathy without hesitation.

We needed a really special person to conduct our unique vow renewal ceremony. We came across Cathy after searching online for someone fairly local to the venue we had chosen. Our ceremony was to be just the two of us with no guests. It was extremely important to us that the tone and words used were well thought out and took our own situation into consideration. Cathy was extremely empathetic and enthusiastic about our plans from the very first online meeting. Organising the structure of the ceremony from the bare bones to the final full plan was so easy as Cathy really understood what we were hoping for. Everything was effortless and arranged within plenty of time. We had no worries at all that the ceremony would be exactly what we hoped for. On the day itself, Cathy put us at ease and the ceremony itself was even more than we could have imagined for. It was only the two of us but we laughed, cried and it captured how special an occasion we wanted it to be. The words Cathy had brought to the ceremony were absolutely perfect. She did the most wonderful ring exchange and handfasting ceremony. It was warm and heartfelt. Having a full written transcription of the ceremony was the icing on the cake that means we can forever remember every moment of our really special day. Thank you so much Cathy.

Cathy was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. We found her extremely friendly and could tell she really wanted to take the time to get to know us both and our story throughout the process. We were quite set on a 'no fuss' ceremony but Cathy encouraged us to add in a few little extras which we're so glad we did - the whole ceremony was perfect! We cannot recommend Cathy enough if you are choosing a celebrant led wedding. From our very first conversation with Cathy we felt an instant comfort and warmth. We knew we were in safe hands and this was the person we wanted to be a part of our wedding day. Cathy communicated with us so well throughout all the planning and really took time to get to know us as a couple, which reflected through the ceremony. We had so so many compliments on the celebrant led ceremony and lots of our guests commented on how brilliant Cathy was, how the ceremony was so US and how much she really knew and understood us as a couple. Cathy has a plethora of ideas for making the ceremony personal to each couple and we were grateful to have her with us. She is a really special lady and we hope to keep in touch x

We couldn’t have been happier with the ceremony that Cathy organised and performed for us. We wanted a low key commitment ceremony just for close family and it really was special. She made it personal to us and included some funny stories and anecdotes. She really took the time to understand our story and why we wanted this ceremony and it all came together brilliantly on the day. The guests also commented on how at ease Cathy made everyone feel!

I have absolutely no regrets about hiring Cathy as our Celebrant.

We were after a low key, non-fussy but still heartfelt service and she heard us completely.

She went above and beyond at every step. She used her wedding experience to make sure we'd thought of everything, calmed us both down on the day, even went for a venue visit with the coordinator without being asked.

The speech she wrote was beautiful and everyone commented on how good the ceremony was. She even gave us a couple of keepsakes which was a lovely touch.

I've never used a celebrant before but I cant imagine what more you could want.
