Sara was fantastic from the very first time we met her all the way through to the big day. We knew during our first meeting that she was the one we wanted marrying us based on her kind and approachable personality.

She was very supportive throughout the whole journey; whether it was meeting up with us, checking in and helping us with the paperwork. She went out her way to get to know all about us individually and as a couple which showed us just how invested she was in learning our love story.

Sara has a wonderful way with words; our ceremony was filled with laughter, happy tears and heartfelt moments. More than we could have ever imagined. Our friends and family gave us so many compliments on how lovely and sentimental the ceremony was.

Myself and my husband got married on 08/08/2026 and had an absolutely amazing day filled with laughs, tears and lots of love. Thanks to Sara, our guests were able to hear our love story and all the wee things that make our relationship so special to us. We had reached out to Sara well over a year ago and from the first meeting we both knew that we wanted Sara to be our celebrant. We met on several occasions and shared so much of our lives so far and the ceremony that Sara created felt very beautiful and personal- exactly what we wanted. We had the honour of Sara marrying us on our special day. I met Sara through her previous job and was absolutely delighted to have her agree to be our celebrant. I honestly don’t know how to put into words just how perfect Sara made our ceremony ❤️

From the very beginning, she just got us. Our ceremony felt completely personal to us as a couple and to our family. Nothing felt generic or like something she had said a hundred times before – it genuinely felt like our story.

One of the most important things to us was including all 5 of our kids, aged from 5 to 16, and Sara helped us do that in such a special way. We had a sand ceremony that included all of them, as well as our handfasting, and they are moments I know we’ll remember forever.

The whole ceremony had absolutely everything. We laughed, we cried, and somehow so did half of our guests 😂❤️ So many people spoke to us afterwards about how lovely and personal the ceremony was and how it had them going from laughing one minute to crying the next.

Sara didn’t just marry us – she somehow managed to take our whole family, our story and everything that matters to us, and turn it into a ceremony that felt completely and utterly ours. ❤️

Sara made what could easily have just been the “formal” part of the day into one of my absolute favourite parts of our wedding. It felt like us from beginning to end.

I genuinely didn’t expect the ceremony itself to be one of the parts of the day I would look back on most, but it absolutely is. That is completely down to Sara and how incredibly good she is at what she does.

Sara was the best celebrant we could have wished for! She told our love story so perfectly on our wedding day with the perfect mix of love and humour. That is all testament to the amount of preparation that Sara put in to getting to know us as a couple, our preferences around the ceremony and our story. Sara guided us through all of the legal parts of the ceremony and optional elements that we were less familiar with, such as the quaich ritual and blessing. Sara was a calming presence on the day, she welcomed our guests and ensured the ceremony ran smoothly.

We met online for an intro and then she came to meet us, and get to know us. She seemed get us almost straight away, and was able to put together a completely unique and personal ceremony that truly reflected us, our relationship, the time we spend together and what we enjoy.

Sara guided us every step of the way. Sending information and details of the correct documents to fill in and when and where to send these. Sara also coordinated seamlessly with our venue and singer to ensure everything ran smoothly. What made the ceremony so special was how deeply she got to know us—our journey, our relationship, and what matters most to us. She asked us both thoughtful questions to answer individually, then wove our responses together into a heartfelt narrative. Hearing each other’s words as part of the ceremony was such a meaningful and emotional surprise.

At Sara’s suggestion, we included a handfasting ritual, which was incredibly special—and we loved learning that it’s where the phrase “tying the knot” comes from. She also made a beautiful effort to include our children and even suggested that the blessing for the handfasting ritual be read by my sister, which meant so much to us.

Sara was the perfect choice for our Civil Partnership. She completely captured the essence of ‘Us’ in the ceremony she prepared. We had a very quiet, intimate service with just 2 witnesses in a very remote setting and Sara went out of her way to make our day so memorable. She even had to trek over a hill in the pouring rain wearing wellies to get to the cottage.
The service had exactly the right blend of humour, seriousness and emotion. Sara was calm, professional ,reliable and very funny too, which was exactly what we needed. We would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone planning their special day.

We feel extremely grateful to of had Sara as our celebrant as she really puts in so much love and effort into what she does. Her focus is strongly towards getting to know who you are in depth and creating a ceremony that is true and meaningful.
