As a Wedding Celebrant accredited by the Humanism UK it is my privilege to be able to guide you through all the details of planning your wedding service so that it will be exactly what you want on the day.

My focus is to write a script that includes all the elements which are important to both of you. This could be:

• making sure your friends are actively involved in the service
• having a huge sing-a-long
• ensuring that your individual cultural backgrounds are reflected in the symbolic acts and choices of readings
• finding the perfect songs and poems
• making sure the family dog feels included
• respecting and including the beliefs of friends and family with different religious faiths
• creating a great party atmosphere

Your wedding script will be as individual as you are and will be a true reflection of your personalities, your humour and your love.

On your wedding day my professional role is to support and welcome all key people, so that you know you are in safe hands. To engage your guests with warmth and enthusiasm, to share in the delight of retelling your story and to support you through all the exciting and emotional moments – from your first glimpse of each other as the ceremony starts, through the high emotion of your vows and finally to the thrill of the declaration at the end of the ceremony.

I am delighted to marry straight and gay couples across Hertfordshire and North/Central London. I am also available for weddings abroad. Where can we have our wedding?

I can deliver your wedding service anywhere you want - from a back garden to a beach; from a top-notch hotel to a tipi in the countryside.

What can you offer that a registrar can't?

I will meet with you when you first start thinking about your wedding and will develop the wedding service with you so that it is a true reflection of the two of you, your relationship and your values. Nothing will be vetted or restricted; the only limit will be your imagination! Registrars can only offer limited personalisation. They do not develop the script with you and cannot offer the reassurance of a rehearsal.

Can we write our own vows?

Of course you can! I will provide plenty of examples of different types of vows so that the process of developing your own will be fun rather than daunting.

How can we involve family and friends in the service?

We can discuss loads of different and individual ways of doing this. You might like to think about any of the following: a ring warming, hand fasting, music or songs performed by those you love, a communal song, or anything else that takes your fancy!

What if we come from different faith backgrounds?

I love to recognise and celebrate different traditions in wedding ceremonies, and to create imaginative ways of doing this that will suit you and the new family you are creating. Together we can be as creative as you like to make sure that both families feel respected and included.
