I’m Gillian and I’m a fully registered Humanist Celebrant, based in Edinburgh, but I work across Scotland conducting legal wedding ceremonies.

Humanism embodies all of the values that I hold dear – those of creativity, inclusivity, empathy, progressiveness, reason and tolerance. I see my role as a Humanist celebrant as a form of creative expression and I feel privileged to be entrusted with your story. My ceremonies are warm, fun and inclusive, and I want you both to feel that for those 25 minutes or so during your ceremony, that you can relax and feel that it's in safe hands.

A ceremony which honours exactly who people are, filled with the best anecdotes, memories and unique flourishes is the best way to celebrate any major life milestone. Do you want your ceremony to include a handfasting or colourful sand ceremony? Or your ceremony conducted atop a mountain or in the middle of a hedge maze? I am always up for anything a bit quirky and open to ideas!
