Right from the get go she was just amazing, when I first called her it was like speaking to an old friend you hadn’t caught up with in ages. Conversation just flowed & the time flew by.
Susan is so welcoming of all things, she’s non judgmental, she makes you feel so at ease & she laughs with you at all the embarrassing moments which was great especially as I have a Husband who enjoys putting his foot in it lol!!
She checks in with you often, accommodates your full ceremony to your own personal love story & is full of help, support, love, guidance & advice. From our wedding license to the morning of our wedding being there with smiles, hugs, guidance & compliments she really does go above & beyond.
Before our ceremony started she was greeting our guests, singing happy birthday to one of our guests, introducing everyone & getting everyone ready & excited for our arrival.
Our ceremony itself was filled with stories, laughs, tears, family & friends & so personal to us. I could not say my vows with tears, nerves & my voice shaking but Susan was there beside me whispering “just breathe, take your time”…… All our guests complimented on how fun our ceremony was & how there was no boring bits at all & so much so that one of my friends booked Susan immediately to do her ceremony next year.

Susan was a great support through the entire process from booking her through to the wedding itself. Our guests really enjoyed the ceremony, Susan put everyone at their ease. In particular we got a lot of appreciative comments about the handfasting part of the ceremony. It was fun organising it with her and she gave us a very personal wedding ceremony, the memories of which we will treasure forever.

We had an amazing experience with Susan from start to finish. Everyone at our wedding came to tell us how much they enjoyed the ceremony - it was clear how much time Susan spent getting to know us, and how much effort she had put in to craft a truly personal celebration for us. Susan is demonstrably so passionate about conducting a unique service and she goes the extra mile to ensure that. We always felt we were in safe hands with her. The day itself can be quite nerve wracking but Susan was a source of calm; using her fabulous humour and attention to detail to bring everyone into the moment - the nerves soon melted away! Susan is without doubt the best at what she does. A really lovely person who me and my wife got on with like a house on fire. So friendly, always happy to help if we were ever stuck with anything. We were originally getting married in October 2024 but with a baby on the way in August we managed to pull together a wedding at Gretna in 6 weeks! Susan helped us pull it off flawlessly. The day went without a hitch and kept us calm and laughing the whole day, there is no one else I would recommend to do your wedding!
