Whether you wish to enjoy a ceremony that is secular (non-religous), interfaith, or with a touch of religion, Debs is happy to facilitate your needs. She is proud to promote inclusivity, welcoming soon-to-be newlyweds from all walks of life.
During your initial consultation, you can tell Debs all about your perfect wedding and she'll support you if you choose to customise your vows so they reflect the distinctive connection that you and your partner share.

Message from Debs...
I have a deep passion for love stories and making your vision come true. You let me get to know you, and what makes you tick, and you to regale your whole romance (some have called me a free love therapist!). The most important job is being someone that you are comfortable with who ends up being a friend on your big day!
I also run an Event Management company, so you can have faith that planning and organisation is in my blood - helpful in the run up to your amazing celebration and on the day itself, ensuring everything is ticketyboo!
Registrars V Celebrants?
In short, Registrars work for the council and have the power to officiate your marriage contract in the eyes of the law (liken it to registering a birth / death)
Celebrants will help you to create a your own personalised ceremony, taking place wherever and whenever you would like. You can include personalised vows, live music, handfastening, champagne, family - and my favourite - fun interaction with your guests.
How does it work?
- You have an intro call - It is important that you think I am the right person to work with for your ceremony. Our first chat is completely no obligation, I just want you to feel comfy with me.
- You book - Yay! We like each other! Booking secures the day (no other bookings are made on the same day as your ceremony)
- We chat. Alot - To start off with, I ask you a lot of questions. Sorry about that! However, your answers really dictate what we include in the ceremony. I need enough information to pull your words together to tell your story and include relevant elements that reflect who the ceremony is about. It requires some chat, but isn’t all in one go.
- I bring your story to life - Based on everything you have told me, your story is bought to life, and your ceremony is customised to tailor who it is for, whether yourself or a loved one. No two ceremonies are ever the same, they’re created from scratch (genuinely this is one of the main reasons why I love my job).
- You read - I do not perform any ceremony without you reading through it. You will receive the final draft 5-10 days before the ceremony date. You need to be happy with everything, so this is your chance to do final tweaks.
- Sometimes we rehearse - If you would like to meet at your venue to rehearse we can do, ideally we will have arranged this at the booking stage to accommodate the rehearsal in the booking form. We do not have to, this is about whether you want to.
- Your Ceremony takes place - The day arrives. I've already been in touch with your other suppliers, so we are all sorted.I already know who your VIP's are and I'm invariably there a couple of hours before I said I would be! You may have a lot of emotions involved on the day, so I will do my best to keep you calm and manage your ceremony to the nth degree. I fade into the background and you enjoy the rest of your day 💗

A fun, thoughtful, personal ceremony - perfection!
We got married in Menorca this May and were looking for a celebrant who we could work collaboratively with to create a thoughtful, personal and fun ceremony that really represented us and our story. We are so grateful to have found Debs!
Right from the very beginning, Debs’s warmth, sense of humour and dedication to her couples was clear and she made the whole process a real joy. We met with Debs either in person or over video call several times, where she took the time to get to know us, as well as giving us advice throughout. The ceremony that she wrote was so lovely, exactly what we had hoped for and more - so many of the guests at our wedding said it was the best and most personal wedding ceremony they’d heard!
As well as being a skilled public speaker, Debs’s calming yet fun nature really put us at ease throughout the ceremony and her personal touches, including a printed marriage certificate and a video message just after the ceremony, again demonstrate her thoughtfulness and dedication to her couples. We were so delighted with our ceremony and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Debs - we’d give more than five stars if we could!

Super Celebrant! Everything we wanted and more!
...And the Oscar for Best Celebrant goes to .... Debs!! She was absolutely amazing! She understood exactly what we were looking for and set the tone for the day perfectly: personal, relaxed, full of love, fun and brightness.
Debs made the preparation discussions much more enjoyable than we could have imagined and the final result was tribute to the careful thought behind our happy evening chats.
We loved working with Debs and having her tell our story to our crowd! We got so many great compliments about the ceremony.
She checked in with us before the ceremony, was always in the right place at the right time, took some fantastic, behind the scenes photos that no one else would have thought of and shared them with us immediately! Worth her weight in gold!
A Wonderful, welcoming, passionate lady with the biggest smile are just a few words to describe Debs. From the first time we met her we knew she was going to be our celebrate fully embracing and understanding the uniqueness of our day and what we had planned. She took time in getting to know us and it was very evident that she has a real passion and pure love for being a celebrate. The words she put together for our big day blow us away and the delivery on the day was just perfect. So many of our guests said how beautiful the ceremony was, nothing but unique and a true reflection of us as a couple. It was all the little touches that took the pressure off us and made it so special. Making families members feel important and we all know how families can be, sorting a plan C for the music, making and creating a snap shot video/photos of our day and so much more. We are both forever grateful for your kindness, support and love and the memories you created for us on our big day with last a lifetime. Thank you Debs 💕

Debs made our day magical! Our getting to know each other meetings online were always a pleasure then Debs turned our words into a beautiful heartfelt, personal ceremony with a touch of humour... just perfect!
She was there to help and guide us both before and on the day which helped ease away any worries of an abroad wedding. Nothing was too much to ask! I couldn’t recommend Embrace Celebrancy enough to anyone looking for a celebrant for any occasion!

Professional guidance and friendly support
I cannot recommend Embrace Celebrancy high enough. My wife and I worked with Debs and from the first moment to the last she provided amazing support by clarifying the wedding arrangements and guiding us through the small details. We spoke with Debs online until we found the perfect, intimate service that beautifully portrayed our romantic journey to our family and friends. On the day, when nerves threatened to sabotage me, Debs provided me with cool-headed support so that the ceremony went without a hitch. For that, Debs, I will be forever grateful.

Finding a celebrant felt daunting to us at first - where would we start? How would we know?! But as soon as we finished our initial zoom chat with Debs all of that became obvious. From start to finish, Debs guided us through our ceremony, helping us to build it exactly how we wanted. We couldn’t have wished for a more personal ceremony and all of our guests commented on that and how at ease Debs made everyone feel. It was even all of the little touches that meant so much, such as knowing all the key people in our wedding party so she could say hi to them before the ceremony. Chatting to those doing readings to help put them at ease. Even sending us an album of ‘getting ready’ photos from around the site that we wouldn’t have had the time to see. We cannot recommend her highly enough - she played such an important role in our day and we will always look back on our time with her fondly.

Amazing experience with Embrace Celebrancy
From our first meeting with Deborah, we knew we wanted her to be our Wedding Celebrant. Deborah exudes warmth and infectious positive energy, and her passion for putting together and performing the perfect ceremony is so clear the minute you meet.
The process was easy, enjoyable even, to re-live our story and every single detail we mentioned in our meetings was included. I have a son who I was desperately trying to make sure felt included in the day, and Deborah wove him into the Ceremony in such a beautiful way that it brought him, and many others, to tears.
I felt in safe hands in the months leading up to the wedding, and I felt taken care of on the day. Deborah has such a special way of extracting all the important details through conversation, and interlacing them into the most personal, special ceremony. Outside of this, she is only too happy to liaise with other suppliers, photographers and event organisers to really make sure your wedding goes as smoothly as possible. We chose to write our own vows, and Deborah kindly offered not only to read them to make sure we were both aligned in our styles, but printed them on gorgeous paper which matched our wedding theme so we looked professional on the day, and now have them to keep forever.
I cannot thank her or rave about her enough, she’s the best decision we made for our wedding and the words she put together are something we’ll cherish for years to come.

Personal and perfect!
Debs was absolutely perfect - she took the time to get to know us and wrote a ceremony that really reflected us as a couple. We had several meetings in the run up to the day, and Debs even sent a draft of the ceremony to us in advance, so we felt really in control of how things would go.
All of our guests thought she was fantastic too - not a dry eye in the house!

Fantastic & Magical Moments, Lovingly Crafted by Debra!!!
We met Debra, from Embrace Celebrancy at a wedding fayre, and out of nowhere we were introduced to the world of celebrants!! Her passion and charisma spurred us on to look into this option and we never looked back! Debra provided us with a truly incredible ceremony, all of our guests agreed it was one of the highlights of the day!
Debra spent several evenings and phone calls plus various email exchanges to learn about us, our relationship and crafted a magical and truly touching ceremony bespoke to us. It was truly magical and we couldn't imagine the day being the same without her love and soul which she ploughed into our big day.

The most perfect ceremony and the most perfect celebrant!
We honestly can’t thank Debs enough for helping to make our wedding ceremony so perfect. During the 11 months that we were working with Debs, we felt like we gained a friend as well as a celebrant. She was so flexible and willing to fit into our family life and routines during our meetings, even becoming a human climbing frame for our two little wild ones! Debs captured our story, not only of us as a couple, but also as a family, perfectly. She really took the time to get to know us- the whole ceremony was completely bespoke, including a wonderful tree-planting ceremony for Ozzie, Indie and their guideparents. Our special day was not just about celebrating our marriage, but also our little tribe of 4. Debs worked her magic and her precious words made sure that the individual personalities of our little ones shone through. The ceremony was relaxed, full of love, happy tears and smiles (and wasn’t complete without a spot of wrestling from the kids, who were loving the limelight!). We’d recommend Debs as your celebrant for any occasion/event and we hope to see you again in the future! THANK YOU! 💕
