We eloped with our 3 kids and had very little idea of how we wanted our wedding to be, other than for the kids to feel included and for things to be laid back and relaxed.

From the first zoom call Eleanor made us feel comfortable and heard. She was incredibly patient with our baby who didn't want to settle and two boys who wanted to chat too!
She came back to us with some beautiful ideas for the ceremony that made room for us as a couple to celebrate how far we have come so far, but also keeping things fun and engaging for the kids.
We absolutely loved the date night box that accompanied the questionnaires we got to fill in, these left no stone unturned and we felt like it meant a lot for Eleanor to get to know us well enough to be apart of our wedding.

Along the way Eleanor went above and beyond and helped us with all sorts of recommendations, from unique ideas for the ceremony, a photographer and restaurant to go to on the big day, to things to do with the kids during our stay at york. Nothing felt too much.

On the day we were blown away by the ceremony she had prepared. We felt relaxed, had time to take in all the small details included, and enjoyed listening to our story told back to us with such beautiful words. We appreciated the time and effort that went into planning the smaller rituals we asked to be included in our big day.

The patience that was held for our kids was beyond what we could have expected. The kids being comfortable enough to be completely themselves with Eleanor, who they had only met properly the night before, shows just how at ease we all felt in her presence.

I’m not sure there’s enough words in the world to do justice to what Eleanor did for our ceremony and the beginning of our marriage. She saw us, heard us and celebrated us, then she made everyone else see it too. At least 20 people came up to us after saying they were blown away by her and the ceremony and that it felt as if she was a close friend. Others told us they learned of new depths to our relationship and were moved to tears by our story. This is Eleanor’s gift. We wanted our ceremony to be the highlight of our day and it will be the highlight of our life. I’ve never felt so deeply connected to my partner, or so held in such a moment of intimacy and presence. This is not an easy task, but Eleanor makes it look like one. I will shout from the rooftops to anyone who will listen about how incredible she is and the value of having Eleanor over a registrar. You won’t regret a single penny spent on her.

From the very beginning, Eleanor was so incredibly warm and encouraging, meeting us on multiple occasions to discuss every part of the ceremony, and suggesting ways to weave our ideas together, both logistically and creatively. She took the time to get to know us and our story, and then created a beautiful ceremony script (with plenty of humour) that was completely ours - being flexible with any tweaks (not that we had any!). Eleanor welcomed our wish to involve as many important people as possible, making it easy for them to put their parts together, and keeping these a wonderful surprise until the wedding day. Considering our love of music, she encouraged a hearty group sing-along, which will be one of our favourite memories of the day, as well as a beautiful ring warming accompanied by song.

On the day, Eleanor's ceremony delivery was just perfect, and many of our guests asked afterwards if she was a friend of ours (we now definitely feel she is!) The ceremony set the tone for the day - warm, personal and joyful. Eleanor printed our family and friends' readings and stories, and afterwards we received a beautiful copy of our ceremony script for us to treasure. These touches matched Eleanor's level of care throughout the planning process - checking in, questionnaires, sending us a 'date night' package etc.

Eleanor was amazing from start to finish. With regular catch ups via email and zoom it was the perfect way to get to know each other. What can we say about Eleanor… she gave us the most perfect ceremony we could have asked for. We were looking for a celebrant who could give us a very personal and uplifting ceremony, and we ended up making a friend who dedicated so much time to helping us plan the perfect ceremony. It's difficult to put into words how amazing Eleanor was and the lasting impact she's had on our marriage. She was the first celebrant we spoke to when we initially decided to choose a celebrant for our ceremony and within 5 minutes of speaking to her, our minds were made up! During the free initial consultation, Eleanor gave us a whole hour of her time and talked us through the services she provided, taking the time to get to know us and answering all of our questions. This was all done with a calm, humorous and reassuring manner - it was like talking to a best friend! We felt that Eleanor really got 'us' as a couple even from that first meeting and she had so many amazing ideas of how we could incorporate some more traditional wedding elements into a ceremony that we really wanted to be done in our own unique way. We left the conversation buzzing with energy and excitement knowing that we'd found *the person* to tell our story.

Over the next few months, Eleanor checked in with us regularly and helped us create a beautiful, personal ceremony that featured everything we could have dreamed and hoped for. Even though we live outside of the UK with a 7 hour time difference, she made a huge effort to accommodate us. When we were back in the UK, we had the chance to meet up with her in person to catch up on the ceremony and discuss next steps. At no point did we feel that she was taking over or making decisions on our behalf, but when we were stuck for ideas she gave helpful suggestions of what we could do to make things even more special. There was a very close family bereavement a few months away from the wedding and throughout this difficult time Eleanor was extremely calm and sensitive to our needs and supported us to make some changes to our ceremony script to incorporate a very moving tribute. Eleanor was also incredibly neuro-affirming throughout and we would recommend her to any ND couples looking for a celebrant.

Eleanor wrote a beautiful ceremony that included ring warming, candle lighting, readings, book exchange and a live performance from one of the bridesmaids - all themed around our favourite books and video games. The script perfectly captured our feelings for each other as well as the history of our relationship - which many of our UK based close friends and family don't know very well as we met right before covid and live in Asia. Our guests were completely bowled over by how intimate, funny and emotional the ceremony was (there were lots of happy tears!). Many of our guests had not been to a celebrant-led ceremony before, but all spoke passionately about this being a huge highlight of the day.

At the heart of this was all Eleanor - the most incredible human inside and out with an unrivalled talent for turning your love story into a beautiful ceremony. She genuinely cared deeply for us as a couple and that really shone through before, during and after the ceremony. There were also plenty of gorgeous personal touches such as little gifts during the planning process and the post-wedding delivery too! We could not have imagined a more wonderful person to tell our story and host our ceremony and cannot say thank you enough. We feel so lucky to have found Eleanor and feel like we've made a friend for life. We would recommend Eleanor to anyone looking to create an intimate, personalised experience for their special day.
