Well, what can we say… Sue was the perfect addition to our day.

Having originally married during Covid, it was so important to us that this celebration gave us the chance to honour our marriage surrounded by all the family and friends who couldn’t be there the first time. Sue understood exactly what the day meant to us. She beautifully revisited our original wedding while bringing something completely new and special to our ceremony by involving the people we love most.

From personal words shared by some of our dearest friends after Sue had taken the time to speak with them, to meaningful readings, poems, traditional vows and the most wonderful telling of our love story, every part of the ceremony felt completely personal to us.

In just half an hour, Sue somehow brought eight years of our story to life, celebrated the marriage we had already built and gave us the opportunity to cement our commitment to one another all over again. It was heartfelt, joyful, emotional and completely us.

Thank you always, Sue, for giving our love story the celebration it deserved. We’ll never forget it.

We booked Sue as the celebrant for our wedding. I was nervous about being the centre of attention on the day but Sue was able to immediately put me at ease. We had a meeting with her and filled in a questionnaire - using this, she crafted a lovely ceremony for us that made us feel comfortable and in control, as well as being intimate and personal. She worked with us on the readings we wanted. On the day the ceremony was beautiful. We were so happy with how it went and cannot recommend Sue highly enough!

After briefly speaking to Sue on the phone we arranged to meet-up. I liked that Sue wanted to get to know us a little so she could ensure our ceremony was personal and not just the usual formalities. We found Sue friendly, warm and down to earth and it is clear that she cares about what she does and is very professional. On the day Sue made the ceremony perfect and delivered our story in a funny and sincere way. Many of our guests came up to us afterwards and said how much they enjoyed the ceremony. It certainly felt special to Paul and I. We also included the hand tying tradition which was a nice addition to the ceremony suggested by Sue. Also, our ring bearer, Charlie, our Maltese puppy who Sue was more than happy to allow take part in the proceedings. I cannot recommend Sue enough. She made our wedding day special as she is simply a very special person who I will remember. Thank you again.

I recently had the pleasure of working with celebrant Suzi for my wedding, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience. Sue was professional, and friendly, and took the time to get to know us as a couple.
Our guests were also very impressed with the ceremony, and many commented on how lovely the celebrant was. Overall, I would highly recommend working with Sue, and I can't thank her enough for making our day so special.

Sue was an excellent celebrant for our wedding this year. She crafted us such a wonderful ceremony script, which took in all the key moments of our personal love story. It was charming and funny, and we got lots of positive comments from the guests throughout the day about how unique and "us" the ceremony script was which was great, and shows Sue really managed to capture our personalities. This is the kind of personal touch you don't really get with a registry wedding, so was really appreciated.

Sue was very communicative throughout the process of planning the script for the day, and helpfully was available to meet in our home town of Pontefract rather than us having to travel, so this made the process even easier. She is great to chat to and really helps you come out of your shell. She is also very open to anything that you would like to include in your ceremony, e.g. hand fasting, and can recommend relevant readings and nice touches for the wedding ceremony.

Not sure what else I can say other than our day was amazing and having Suzi as our celebrant was a big part of that. From the first message to the day Suzi was easy to talk to, professional and was always helpful with our plans for what we wanted. The ceremony itself was superb, the words she put together for our vows and love story were perfect, full of our love for each other and plenty of humour to give our guests a good chuckle at our expense.
All in all I can highly recommend Celebrant Suzi.

Sue was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we met Sue right until our wedding day, she was friendly, caring, professional, extremely knowledgable at what she does, funny and down to earth and we couldn’t recommend her enough. My partner and I were quite nervous and Sue talked us through every step of the way. She made great recommendations for the ceremony and made the entire process easy. On the day, Sue delivered a perfect ceremony with the tight mix of seriousness and laughter, and told our love story in the best way. Many of our guests said it was the best ceremony they have ever been to and we have passed on Sue’s details to those who asked for them. Thank you so much Sue for making our wedding day perfect! We wish we could do it all over again.

We chose Sue as the celebrant for our wedding after being unable to get a registrar for the date of our wedding, and we are so glad we did! From the very first meeting we had Sue kept in touch and kept us informed, always sending us drafts of our ceremony to make sure it was perfect. We had multiple meetings with Sue so she could get to know me and josh and really made our ceremony personal. She made sure that our ceremony ran smoothly and everything was organised. So much time and effort was put into our ceremony from Sue and this was made clear when it finally came down to the day and Sue conducted our ceremony. All our guests commented on how nice it was and how lovely Sue was as a person too.
It wasn’t our first plan to have a celebrant led ceremony, but it was so much better than having a registrar and we are so lucky we found Sue. Thank you so much! X
