I’m Eve—Independent Besoke Wedding Celebrant. I'm a writer, actor, and storyteller at heart. Originally from Lancashire, I now live and work in South London, sharing stories with anyone who will listen. There’s nothing I love more than crafting moments that bring people together, creating memories that last a lifetime.

My journey to becoming a celebrant began in the most personal way—when my dear friends asked me to lead their intimate wedding in June 2024. Standing before them, weaving their love story into a ceremony that felt uniquely them, I knew I’d found something special. From that moment, I was hooked. The connection, the joy, the magic of celebrating love—it all felt so right.

I realized that ceremonies—whether weddings, vow renewals, or naming celebrations—are about so much more than just words. They are about marking life’s most meaningful moments in a way that feels personal, authentic, and full of heart. Each ceremony is a chance to tell a story that deserves to be heard.

As an indepedent celebrant, my role is to help bring those stories to life. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all ceremonies (no copy and paste here!)—your special moments should reflect who you are, your journey, and the people you hold dear. That’s why every ceremony I create is entirely bespoke, filled with the words, traditions, and moments that matter to you.

Outside of my work, I’m always creating—whether it’s writing, performing, or diving into a new project. I also take every chance I get to go swimming (cold water doesn’t scare me!). As a queer, disabled celebrant, inclusivity is at the heart of everything I do. I believe that love—in all its beautiful, diverse forms—deserves to be seen, honoured, and celebrated.

With experience across a variety of venues and a background in event planning, I know how to bring a vision to life. I blend my love of storytelling with a knack for making people feel comfortable and understood—whether it’s an intimate elopement, a grand wedding, or a deeply personal naming ceremony. And let’s be honest, I also know how to throw a great party!

As a fully trained and certified celebrant, I’m here to bring that same magic to your special day.
