Absolutely outstanding!!! We shortlisted a few caterers for our wedding but Wild Garlic stood out by far from the rest. What really clinched the deal for us was that they offered a barbecue option with sharing platters for our wedding breakfast, but served to our guests’ tables by the wonderful WGC staff. This was in keeping with our semi-formal, more relaxed wedding vibe and it worked perfectly! As soon as we met Gavin and Jo for our tasting evening with them, they completely put us ease and we knew that we would be in very good hands with them for - arguably one of the most important components of our wedding day! The food was absolutely out of this world - so, so delicious and beautifully presented. We also asked for a few “custom” items such as biltong and boerewors, as we had a loose South African theme as part of our wedding day too. Gavin and Jo couldn’t have been more accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for them. Everything on the day ran like clockwork - we can’t thank them enough - if anyone is thinking about catering for their event, I would recommend Wild Garlic over and over again. We were so impressed with Jo and Gavin's professionalism and warmth throughout the whole process. The food was delicious and so many guests have complimented it! We booked Wild Garlic to cater our marquee wedding (canapes, 3 course meal and evening food) and Gavin and Jo were friendly, helpful and professional from the beginning. In our initial phone call they very clearly outlined what was included in the quote and how they could support us on the day. We really appreciated the fact that there were no hidden fees or ‘add-ons’ in the quote (which we had seen with other caterers) - everything we wanted was already included. In the run up to the wedding they organised a very enjoyable tasting session, a meeting at our venue, and were always easily contactable for all of our questions – their experience of weddings really helped us plan the whole day, not just the meal. All of their food is of such a high quality and we had so many dishes to choose from it was quite tough! On the day itself they were completely in charge and everything went without a hitch. We ordered a hog roast and they also supplied glasses which they went above and beyond to take the stress out of our say. Also very responsive to all messages
