We were absolutely delighted with our wedding catering. From the initial conversations through to the wedding day itself, the communication from Kat, Shaun and the team was professional, clear and extremely helpful.
The booking process was straightforward, with clear costings and a detailed explanation of exactly what was included. The catering was extremely good value for money, particularly as the package also included the staff, table service, clearing away, crockery, kitchen equipment and glassware.
Our tasting took place at their catering facility, which was a great opportunity to try the food and discuss our choices. They were very open to conversations about amendments and were happy to accommodate our guests’ dietary requirements. Their facilities were extremely clean and well organised, giving us complete confidence in their standards.
On the wedding day, the food was served on time, and the service ran extremely smoothly. The staff were professional, attentive and friendly, and everything was handled seamlessly. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and of an excellent standard. Everything was fresh, tasty and clearly prepared with great care. Our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the food and how impressed they were with the quality, quantity and presentation.
We were also really impressed with how clean and tidy the venue kitchen was left after the wedding. The team took care of everything.
We couldn't have asked for a better catering experience and would highly recommend S and K Hospitality to anyone looking for professional, reliable and excellent-value wedding catering.

We met Shaun and Kat at Chelmsford wedding fair after feeling like we were giving up trying to find THE caterer.
The team at S&K Catering were quite literally unbelievable- and so was the food. We had a custom menu and picked our favourite starters: baked cheddar mushrooms, pork belly and crispy chilli squid.

For mains, we had beef wellington with dauphinoise potatoes, smoked cheese and leek wellington with dauphinoise and lobster with triple-cooked chips. Dessert was just as incredible: chocolate brownie with ice cream, white chocolate and strawberry cheesecake with sorbet, and apple crumble with custard.

Our wedding was on NYE, in tipis in my parents’ garden — and Shaun and the team are true artists, especially given the kitchen was a marquee in December temperatures! The evening bowl food was also amazing, though sadly I was way too full from dinner to try as much as I wanted. The canapés were out of this world — honestly, it was almost impossible to choose just a few.

Food was really important to us, and guests are still talking about it a month later. We couldn’t have asked for more from S&K and their team.
The girls were all lovely and they felt like guests and part of our day, which we loved.
My only regret? Not going into the catering tent to dragging the team onto the conga line!

I really hope I’m lucky enough to go to a wedding as a guest where S&K are doing the food in the future! 🤍

Recently, we used S&K hospitality for our wedding catering at Hatfield Place.
From the very start, S&K were incredible!
We first met Shaun and Katrina at our wedding venues open day and they were lovely. Approachable, willing to answer any questions and wanted to know about us as a couple.
We booked a taster session and for this we tried 2 starters, mains and desserts. The hardest part of it was deciding on a 3 course meal as everything tasted delicious and not only that, Shaun & Katrina were so flexible they allowed us to change/add bits if we wanted to, really personalising our meal.
In between choosing our menu and our wedding, Katrina always responded quickly to any queries and was incredibly helpful suggesting alternatives for guests with dietary requirements.
On the day, all the staff of S&K were professional, helpful and kind. They checked that everything was okay and our guests commented on how delicious the meal was - there were lots of compliments regarding the beef too!!
For the evening food Shaun made fresh pizzas in the pizza oven with guests choosing their toppings. Guests loved this service too!
