Perfect wedding catering

We chose pickled pumpkin for our wedding breakfast and evening food because they had a fantastic selection of options and were really well priced. They were really responsive and supportive, flexible with designing the menu around our preferences and provided excellent service throughout the day. Could not recommend more highly!

Perfect Food and Incredible Service

Pickled Pumpkin were incredible from start to finish. We gave them a tricky brief (no kitchen at the venue and a fully vegetarian menu) and they did an amazing job! The food was incredible, presentation immaculate, the staff were friendly and professional. They were incredibly detail orientated and focussed on perfection from the start. We had so many compliments on the food and could not have asked for better caterers.

Amazing form start to finish

From the very first moment we got in touch, we knew we had chosen the right supplier. Every step of the journey — from that first conversation, through the tasting session, to the final preparations — was handled with such care, professionalism, and warmth that it instantly put us at ease. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but their constant support, guidance, and reassurance made the process so much smoother and even enjoyable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every idea or request we had was taken seriously and brought to life exactly as we’d imagined.
They completely understood our vision and delivered it to perfection. On the day itself, the whole team was outstanding. Every staff member was professional, friendly, and quietly efficient, making everything run seamlessly without us ever having to worry. We could simply relax and enjoy every moment, knowing we were in the best hands.
The food was absolutely stunning. It wasn’t just a meal — it was an experience. Every dish looked beautiful, tasted incredible, and was talked about by our guests long after the day. What amazed us most was how they catered so gracefully for everyone — even our most complicated guests and tricky dietary requirements were looked after without fuss, and everyone felt included and cared for. That attention to detail made a huge difference and meant that every guest left happy.
Looking back, we honestly couldn’t imagine our wedding day without them. They exceeded every expectation and helped create memories we will treasure forever. If you are considering them for your own wedding or event, do not hesitate for a second — we would recommend them a thousand times over. They are everything you could hope for in a supplier and more, and we are so grateful to them for playing such a key role in making our day truly perfect.

Stunning!

I have worked many events so some would say I have experience, I must say Pickled Pumpkin out did themselves. The food was beautiful(I think better than the tasting on the day). All my guests have been raving about the quality of the food(felt like that of a 5 star restaurant). From the oyster bar to our cute dessert station. Best food we’ve ever had at a wedding

Amazing! Absolutely beautiful food provided for our wedding day/evening. We started with pastries for the guests arrival instead of canapés which were delicious. For our wedding breakfast we decided to have street food instead of a traditional sit down which consisted of fish and chips, pizza & gyros. For the evening eats we opted for a grazing table. Wow wow wow, I can’t recommend this business enough, from flavour, presentation and choice they are top tier. Shout out to Nichole who looked after us from initial booking through to the final call, fantastic service. Competitive prices also. Every single guest raved about the food, they also cater for all types of diet.

Great Food, Lovely Staff

Pickled Pumpkin were amazing through the whole journey, they were able to cater to dietary needs (cow's milk free) with absolutely no fuss, any dish we wanted they tried to adapt. They were one of the only companies we felt would be able to do food fully that I could eat in stead of just making a special meal for me or having to worry about what I could eat on the day. All of the staff were helpful and answered all of our (many) questions. The open tasting evening is a great idea as we tried dishes we wouldn't have normally tried and ended up having in our menu. We had a great day and only managed to eat the evening food as they helpfully saved us some. Alice was our fantastic coordinator on the day who kept things running smoothly on a very chaotic day.

Awesome catering company

These guys really made the day. They were very professional, the food was great, and everyone loved it. Every time I speak with one of the guests from our wedding, they mention how great the food was. It was really an outstanding experience... totally worth spending the extra money on them.

Stunning food and amazing service!

I’m so happy we booked the Pickled Pumpkin as the caterers for our wedding in Caldicot. Food is such an important part of the day, and the team really went above and beyond to make sure everything was delivered and looked fantastic. From start to finish the team have been so communicative and helpful - we thoroughly enjoyed our food tasting, and our feedback was incorporated into the food on the day with no issues at all.
Several of our guests said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had, and the suppliers all really enjoyed their meals too!
Not only was the food great, the team were also fun and friendly (as well as efficient and professional) and our event manager (as well as those coordinating the event beforehand) couldn’t have been more lovely.
