It’s honestly hard to put into words how perfect our day was—this review won’t even scratch the surface. There’s just so much that went right from start to finish, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

From our very first visit to the venue, every step of the journey felt smooth, professional, and full of care. Our wedding coordinator, Saffron, was an absolute legend—thoughtful, incredibly knowledgeable, and completely focused on us as a couple. Having someone like her guiding us made everything in the lead-up feel straightforward and stress-free.

In the days before the wedding, we never once felt unsure or overlooked. The day before, as we arrived to set up, it was immediately clear the whole team was prepped, briefed, and knew exactly who we were and what we needed. Every little detail had been passed on to the staff working that day, and it left us feeling totally confident that we were in safe hands.

And the big day? Pure magic. We were treated with so much care and attention—the team genuinely went above and beyond to make it feel like our day. The food was incredible, the service flawless, and the venue looked stunning.

Looking back, we’ve said that if we broke down the day into individual parts, we’d give every single one of them 10/10. There honestly wasn’t a single detail out of place.

Aldwickbury is hands down the place to get married—for the service, the quality, the food, and the value. We’ll never forget our day, or the love and support we felt from the entire team.

Beautiful Bows delivered our theme marvellously, creating a beautiful, warm and welcoming wedding space!

The chefs cooked delcious meals that received so many compliments (We knew we liked it!) but we were absolutely delighted to hear how much people enjoyed the food that was served throughout the day!

The Squire Event Company provided our DJ for the the evening who created a fun, light hearted environment, delivering music to peoples tastes to allow everyone a chance on that dance floor!

Finally, the Aldwickbury Park staff worked tirelessly on our wedding day and endevoured to deliver an exceptional experience for both ourselves and our guests!

We made the most fabulous memories getting married at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club and they will be cherished forever!

We had our wedding here on 30th December 2025. It was the most beautiful day: it was everything we could wish for and more. Emma, our wedding coordinator was amazing from helping us to plan and sort everything, to ensuring that we had the best team on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly. She was also able to help when we found ourselves needing a photographer 4 months before.

We have just had our wedding here, and I am so glad we picked Aldwickbury park golf club to host our special day.
They have been absolutely amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much to ask for. They were there through every step of the way making sure every detail was captured so that our day went exactly how we wanted.
Not only is the venue amazing, the food and staff exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond for us.
I would definatelty recommend this venue and all my guests agreed it is a lovely venue too.

Well what can we say about Aldwickbury Park Golf Club!!!!
From enquiring back in 2023, after many attempts, to the amazing communication with our wedding Co-Ordinator, Maddie Richardson in the build up, to the amazing job all of the team did on the wedding day itself. Thank you just doesn't seem good enough. Me and my husband felt at a loss before enquiring at this amazing venue, but as soon as we walked through the doors and got introduced to Maddie and were told that she would be our wedding Co-Ordinator and main point of contact throughout the entire wedding process, we were quickly put at ease. If you are looking for a relaxed and enjoyable experience in the build up to your wedding day look no further than this venue. Nothing was too big and everyone was extremely helpful and always greeted us with a smile and a hello. This was also the case on the day itself, all the staff making sure all the guests were comfortable and well looked after. This was and still is amazing for us to hear from all the guests that it was the best wedding they have ever been too!! And trust us when we say this is all thanks to the amazing team. We could always email Maddie and were reassured that we would get a quick and thoughtful reply. The packages were well thought of and were explained in detail throughout our meetings, we had a 12 month, 6 month and 1 month meeting to ensure everything was well communicated and organised prior to the day itself so us and all the guests could relax and enjoy the day. The DJ was amazing and everyone enjoyed all the songs played. Just amazing!!

We had our wedding at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club in Harpenden, and it was a truly beautiful setting for our day.
The grounds gave us the most beautiful backdrop for our photos, and the atmosphere felt so relaxed yet special. It created exactly the kind of day we had been dreaming of. What really stood out was how everything came together on the day. The team worked hard to make sure every detail ran smoothly. In the run-up, communication could have been a little clearer at times, but worries we had were quickly resolved once raised. We are so grateful to everyone at Aldwickbury Park for helping us create memories we’ll treasure forever. We would recommend this venue to any couple- it was truly the most wonderful place to start married life.

I don’t think I will ever find the words to explain just how perfect everything was. From start to finish the venue & suppliers made me feel relaxed and at ease. I’m extremely picky & was so nervous that my vision expectation wouldn't play out exactly how I envisioned, down to the last perfectly tied bow, but my goodness it was more than I could have ever of imagined.
The staff were absolutely faultless, from fluffing up my dress & veil to make sure every photo was perfect, to the food being outstanding. I honestly still can’t quite believe that a day could be this perfect.

If I could do this day 10363937584 times over I would, and every single time I would choose this venue & the staff members. I honestly cannot fault them.

Holly and her team at Aldwickbury were absolutely amazing! They were sure to get every detail right, and one of the bar staff even made a shot board to match our theme! They were so accommodating, and found a way to make everything happen that we asked for. They were incredibly supportive and kind!

It gives me such pleasure to write a review about Aldwickbury Park Golf Club and our sons recent wedding reception. If you want a venue to host a wedding celebration then one does not really need to look elsewhere. If you want a hassle free run up to your wedding reception then Madeleine Richardson's team will provide you with this service. From start to finish I can honestly say that they were just magnificent in so many ways. It was totally obvious that they wanted the best for everyone on the day and they went out of their way to make sure that this would happen. They acknowledge how special this day is. No short cuts are taken. Attention to detail is exemplary and the hands on advice is excellent. Ms Richardson was always available to have a chat. Her conversations put everyone at ease and that is why the special day was perfect because all her hard work paid off handsomely. If you prepare well one tends to present well. The wedding reception room was decorated beautifully and this certainly created a wonderful atmosphere. The room set the tone for the rest of the day. The guests really did appreciate all the hard work that had gone on behind the scenes.
The table service through out the wedding breakfast was so efficient and everyone serving served with a smile and were so polite. Everything ran to time and the quality of the food was excellent. A wonderful breakfast!
The after dinner celebrations continued and the outside terrace was just perfect. All the guests could spread out. No one felt on top of each other. The venue not once felt claustrophobic and it was great to have air conditioning. One more thing to mention about the reception room. The acoustics were just fabulous. One did not have to shout when having a conversation. It was so quiet which is not always the case at receptions.
When reading this review one may feel that I have been a little over the top with my praise but not enough praise is given out these days and when it is deserved it needs to be read.
If you are looking at venues to host your special day then please go and visit this Golf Club. I am very confident that you will not be disappointed. Ms Richardson's team have many wonderful qualities but the most important one is that they GENUINLY CARE. The whole experience at Aldwickbury Golf Club was just perfect and many guests were so complimentary about the venue. A massive thank you to all concerned. You certainly made it a day to never forget. It was SPECIAL.

I cannot praise Aldwickbury enough for hosting our wedding. They did amazingly.
From the start they led us by the hand through the whole process and listened to our vision, doing everything within their power to make it a reality.
Even when our initial coordinator switched companies close to the date of our wedding, the switch was seamless and we did not have to worry at all!
They fully accommodated our guest dietary needs, even some extreme one, and for this we and our guests have nothing but praise for the team. Even with last minute changes caused by cancellations and no shows, and timings gone awry, not once did we have cause to worry on the day or any time before it.

I cannot praise Aldwickbury enough. Especially our coordinator Holly Laird and on the day manager Emma.

We had our wedding reception at Aldwickbury last week and the whole day/evening couldn’t have been any more perfect!

Lisa was our coordinator the whole way through the planning process and was brilliant, we can’t thank her enough for helping to make our day as special as it was.

From the moment we met Maddie at Aldwickbury Park Golf Club we knew instantly that this would be the place for our Wedding.

Maddie was friendly and very professional. She sat us down with a coffee and showed us her portfolio of Alwickbury Park Golf Club. When she asked me are we looking at any other venues, straight away I said No, this is the one. Even though we had a couple of others booked to view – which we then cancelled.

We cannot recommend Aldwickbury Park highly enough, from the beautiful venue, stunning views to the quality of the food and service from the staff.
The ride around in the Golf buggy for the photos with Lewis the photographer (Pho2U) and Liz was good fun. We received the photos soon after the wedding and they are exceptional.

The package we chose was fantastic value for money. Nothing was overlooked by Maddie and we were kept updated with the wedding planning meetings throughout.

The day before we visited Alwickbury Park Golf Club and it looked stunning. Maddie and the team took us through how the day would be set up and we sorted out all the music.

Nothing was too much trouble for the team and we knew that we would be in safe hands the following day for our Wedding.

The day was just beautiful, even the weather!

It was nice getting everyone together and seeing them all enjoying themselves on such a perfect day.

The bride was well looked after making sure she was hydrated, the temperature of the room was cool enough and if there was anything else they could help with.

A special mention to Maddie, Paige and Liz and all the staff on the day as they were all brilliant.

The only negative feedback I can give was that the day was over far too quick!

Our wedding planner, Lisa, was absolutely amazing and with us through every step, every request was catered for and the staff were lovely, we felt so reassured the entire day.

Individual dietary requirements were looked after, even down to the butter for the bread. The food was also delicious!

The venue itself was stunning, it was the perfect size and we loved the split between the breakfast room and the evening reception. The outside spaces were beautiful for photos, despite the cold weather!

I just want to say a huge thank you to Lisa for all her help in coordinating our special day and making everything run smoothly. A massive shoutout to Paige as well—she was an absolute lifesaver! From bringing me socks when I was done with my heels to handling everything with such professionalism, she went above and beyond to look after us. The venue itself looked absolutely beautiful, and every one of our requests was met without hesitation. We couldn't have asked for better support.
