Wedding Cakes by Lisa created the most beautiful and meaningful wedding cake we could have imagined. From the very first phone call, Lisa made everything feel personal and effortless. I’m not normally a cake eater, but even from the tasting samples she sent us before our consultation, we knew straight away that her cakes were something special. When we met in person, she took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and what we wanted our cake to represent.
We chose a three‑tier cake with Coffee Valencia, Blueberry and zesty lemon, and Strawberry, coconut and lime — all absolutely delicious. The finished cake was a genuine work of art. Lisa replicated our venue’s floral arrangements perfectly in sugar form; the colours, shapes, and petal textures were so lifelike that guests had to look twice. She also created a sugar‑work train inspired by my wife's wedding dress, which cascaded beautifully down the tiers. Our two black cat figurines added a personal touch that made the cake unmistakably ours.
Lisa’s kindness went far beyond the main cake. She made two smaller cakes in our favourite flavours for us to enjoy later, immaculately packaged. She also went out of her way to accommodate one of our guests who couldn’t have dairy, baking two special eggless vanilla muffins (one to take away with her) and vegan brownies for her dessert. It meant so much to us and to our guest.
Once the cake was served, it didn’t last long — pretty much every slice was taken and eaten. As the groom, I’ll admit I felt genuinely bad cutting into such a stunning creation, but every bite proved that Lisa’s talent isn’t just visual. Her flavours are exceptional, balanced, and unforgettable.

What a star Lisa is!
Wow, we were blown away with Lisa's attention to detail, flavours, creativity and inspiration. Lisa was personable, attentive and always had time for us and the quality of her workmanship was exceptional.
My son is coeliac and Lisa suggested making a small cake just for him decorated as per the main cake which had a collection handmade sugar peonies in two places which would have taken Lisa an entire day just to make the flowers.
Having sampled other's, Lisa's were by far more superior in flavour and look and we wish we had ordered an extra tier for us to squirrel away for our private munching at a later date as all four tiers were devoured on the day!
We had 72 guests throughout the day and evening and I felt the cost of the cake (four tiers in all) and the dessert table goodies were definitely worth what we paid for!
Lisa guided us to bring in other aspects of the wedding such as our Logo which she crafted exquisitely on both cakes and was very tastefully done.
After looking at the dessert tables Lisa makes, there was no holding me back and instantly placed an order for cake pops, cakesicles, meringue kisses, macaroons and chocolate covered strawberries - delicious! Lisa was able to help with her own display table which really elevated the presentation and reflected how we wanted our wedding to be presented. Our guests commented on the superior quality and deliciousness of the cake and dessert table which meant so much to us.
Lisa arrived at the venue on the morning of the wedding early doors and liaised with the organiser directly allowing me to concentrate on the day.

Amazing cake
Lisa made our cake for our wedding in September and it was amazing! Not only did it taste great but it was a showstopper. Lisa is also the friendliest person you'll meet and so easy to work with. She listens to what you want and then creates a design that fits perfectly. I love that her creations are always unique and personal to the couple. We were so glad we decided to keep the top tier for ourselves because there was no cake left by the end of the night! Our guests have raved about it since. Stunning Creation

The best of the best!
We were lucky to meet Lisa at a wedding fair at the beginning of our wedding planning journey and are so thankful that we did! Her cake creations are beautiful and taste incredible! Lisa is always at the end of the phone or email for any questions that we had and feels more like a friend you’ve known for years rather than a supplier. Lisa is incredibly knowledgable about all things wedding and provided us with lots of advice and tips for not only our wedding cake but other aspects of the day too!
Lisa sat with us and discussed in detail our wedding cake, advised on the sizes we would need, offered an amazing selection of flavours of cakes which I can confirm all tasted incredible and listened to the vision that we had for our cake. Lisa hand crafted beautiful sugar flowers which matched my bouquet perfectly - Lisa had worked with the florist to ensure they would and they were beautiful. I cannot rate Lisa high enough, the cake was one of my favourite parts of the day and cannot wait for another celebration to enlist her services for! Lisa made an amazing and original cake . She was thoughtful ,inspiring and just lovely to deal with . Nothing was too much trouble during the design phase . She produced several alternatives to choose from and was happy to discuss all the options as many times as we needed .

Came across Lisa at my wedding venues open day. Looking through some of the cakes she had done previously I just had a gut feeling that this is who I had to go with. The process was a breeze and the cake tasting was delicious! Talking to Lisa is like talking to a friend you've known for years. She's really down to earth. On the day I was really happy with how our cake turned out. The colours and design was perfect! As for the taste... I was enjoying my honeymoon and my family were messaging me asking for slices of the top tier reserved for me and my husband! My mum is still trying to wrangle additional slice. I had to cut off her supply 🤣.
