We were having a dessert table at our daughters wedding and wanted to provide cupcakes for our guests with dietary requirements and, luckily for us, I found Mel 😊. Although it was short notice, Mel was so accommodating, took the time to understand exactly what flavours/colours worked for us and delivered them on time to the venue as planned. They were absolutely delicious cupcakes and enjoyed by all our guests.

Absolutely blown away by the service provided by Mel. Extremely thoughtful and flexible with personalisation ideas and everyone still talks about our wedding cake now!! Mel is wonderful to work with through the entire cake making/ordering process.
She is calm, genuine and hardworking and will endeavour to make any cake you can dream of!
Another thing to note is that having a plant based cake is a major plus if you have any guests with dietary restrictions. Many of our dairy free guests got to enjoy ‘normal’ cake with their everyone else which they commented was a rarity (and the taste wasn’t compromised at all!)

She gave me so much guidance on sizing, offered helpful advice on how and when to serve the cake, worked within my budget and truly understood my vision.

The cake was delivered to the venue, looked absolutely fabulous and tasted amazing. We chose a chocolate and raspberry filling, and everybody loved it, they were so surprised to find out it was vegan!

Mel created the most amazing gluten free & vegan wedding cake for us! She worked with us to find a design that worked well and fitted with our theme, even though we didn’t really know what we were looking for at times! All our guests commented on how amazing the cake tasted. Highly recommend!

We asked Mel to make the cakes for our wedding off the back of her being very local to us and having great Google reviews - we are both so glad that we did.

Part of our wedding day was a boat trip after the ceremony to the reception venue - we wanted people to have cake on the boat (side note, would massively recommend this slightly unusual timing of post-ceremony cake, saves a fortune on canapés, everyone really enjoys the cake).

Mel was fantastic in working with us to make a 6” cutting cake, and then some pre-cut sheet cakes so that we could serve them on the boat. Mel is so on it with the details that really matter… the cake being dropped off on the day (at two different spots) went without a hitch. The cake topper decoration was exactly what we wanted despite Mel having to work out exactly what was in our heads!

The even bigger bonus, which we completely weren’t expecting at the time was that we were able to have three different cake flavours

Oh, and it’s all vegan… genuinely not that you’d know, it’s all great cake.
