Customer service is at the forefront of what we do. Owner of Rookery Bridal, Sarah, opened her first boutique over 10 years ago having had a poor experience when buying her own gown. She knew then that customer service is key and she set about creating a boutique where all her brides can feel secure and comfortable: they are listened to and treated with respect.
At Rookery Bridal, we really want to help you find your dream dress and our attention to our customer service is what separates us from the other boutiques. During your appointment, the team give you and your entourage their undivided attention to assist you in discovering the wedding dress of your dreams.
Rookery Bridal are passionate about helping every client to find the wedding dress that speaks to their unique style and personality. The Team at Rookery Bridal are dedicated to ensuring that your wedding gown shopping experience is relaxing, enjoyable, and stress-free.
Rookery Bridal is an independent wedding dress boutique located in Rooksbridge, Somerset, between Weston Super Mare and Burnham on Sea. Conveniently located just 5 minutes from junction 22 of the M5 and just off the A38.

The friendly and experienced stylists at Rookery Bridal welcome you to schedule an appointment to browse their array of gown options in peace. They stock a wide range of award-winning dresses by notable designers such as Justin Alexander, Sincerity by Justin Alexander, Casablanca Bridal, Lillian West and Paloma Blanca.
Gowns are available both off-the-peg and made-to-order in a range of shapes, silhouettes, and sizes.
Prices start for a gown to order range from around £1500.00 to £3100.00.
They also stock an extensive range of wedding accessories, such as veils, tiaras, shoes, and more, for your convenience.

How do you work?
We operate an appointment based service. Our appointments last between 1.5 and 2 hours. However, if you need more time, or have any special requirements, we will do our best to accommodate you
Operating hours:
Our standard hours are Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 5pm. We also work evenings too and, by prior arrangement, we can be here on a Monday or Sunday. Trunk Show weekends take place on Sundays aswell

Wonderful experience
Wow I am so so pleased I picked Rookery Bridal to go wedding dress shopping at! Every part of the experience was so wonderful, easy and enjoyable! From the first appointment, the staff were all so friendly and helpful- I think it was Victoria who helped me during that first appointment. She called us to say we could come early so we could make the most of our time, she gave us lots of time to walk around and have a look at the dresses on offer, and she was so attuned to what I liked/ worked for me that she was able to give amazing recommendations. This included my final dress I tried on which went on to be THE dress haha. It was a stunning Lilian West gown that felt perfect straight away. Once I had ordered it, the team at Rookery Bridal were very communicative about it arriving and also booked me an appointment to pick out a veil as well (they happened to have one that matched my dress perfectly so that was happy days). They offered a free steaming of the dress in the week running up to the wedding but as mine was lace, I didn't actually need to use this service, but i can imagine it is so helpful that it is there.
Overall Rookery Bridal has a stunning collection of gowns which despite having a good variety, are all very elegant and well made. The experience was so much fun and stress free and the team were so helpful throughout the process. Therefore I would highly highly highly recommend Rookery bridal as a place to go to search for your perfect wedding dress!

Everything and more
I was so nervous about trying in dresses.
Im a plus size curvy women and have been through a tough time with weight loss, after loosing over 6 stone I wanted to show everyone what I had achieved.
I originally want a dress tight fitted (mermaid or fish tail) but with sleeves to hide my loose skin but show my new figure. But trying these one I did not look how I expected. After 4 or 5 dresses I started to feel deflated and wanted to hide away. But Nickie and Sarah asked if I would trust them to pick some dresses for me, and I'm so glad I did trust them after another 2 dresses they found me the dress of my dreams, I looked in the mirror and I couldn't speak, happy tears appeared and I just could not believe the women I was looking at was me, the dress was incredible and it showed every ounce of what I had worked si hard for and for the first time I looked in the mirror and loved the women I seen.
I genuinely from the bottom of my heart I can't thank Rookery enough for finding me the perfect dress, for their patience and for making me look beautiful.
I would recommend Sarah and her team always.

The Easiest Yes to the Dress!
I had such a wonderful experience with Rookery Bridal from start to finish. The team were incredibly lovely, professional, and made me feel completely at ease the whole time, which made such a difference during what can feel like a big moment.
They have a huge selection of beautiful dresses and accessories, so there’s something for every style. Amazingly, I actually found my dress here and it was the very first one I tried on, which just shows how well they listen and understand what you’re looking for.
I worked with Nickie throughout the entire process and she was absolutely lovely, so warm, helpful, and genuinely supportive. She made everything feel easy and enjoyable, and I always felt in safe hands.
I couldn’t recommend Rookery Bridal more for anyone looking for a relaxed, friendly, and professional bridal shopping experience.

I had the most amazing experience at Rookery Bridal! Gemma helped me choose a dress I never thought I’d pick, and she never made me feel rushed—she made the whole appointment so calm and enjoyable.
When I said yes to my dress, Sarah made me feel like a million dollars, even sharing a tear with my mum! Picking up my dress was just as lovely—I wasn’t rushed and we had a great chat.
They also noticed my veil wasn’t quite right and immediately arranged to have it corrected. The team’s care, attention to detail, and kindness made me feel so special from start to finish. I can’t recommend Rookery Bridal enough! 💕👰✨

Made to feel special
Could not fault Sarah and her team! I was told by other shops I had left it too late to find a prefect dress but Sarah reassured me and took me on the most amazing journey to find my perfect dress. The whole experience was magical and finding the one was made so easy!! Worth the almost 2 hour drive to get there 😍😍

Amazing experience - would highly recommend!
I had such a fantastic experience at Rookery Bridal. The team were so welcoming and professional, and they have such a large and beautiful range of dresses. I felt very comfortable trying dresses on and after looking in lots of different boutiques, found my dress which I’m so happy with! I can’t wait to come back next year when my dress is ready, thank you so much!🩷

My appointments with Rookery Bridal have been fantastic, they are truly lovely ladies and made me feel so comfortable. The dresses are stunning and the service they provide is amazing! They are warm and welcoming and so helpful. I’m so glad I found my perfect dress at Rookery Bridal!

Rookery Bridal was the only dress shop I visited—and after trying on just four dresses, I found the one and a beautiful veil! I wasn’t sure what I was looking for when I walked in, but the process was made to feel incredibly easy and relaxed.
The appointment never felt rushed or pressured, and the calm atmosphere was perfect. The best way to describe the experience? Simply easy—in the best possible way!
My dress was unbelievably comfortable, made from such high-quality fabric, and I honestly wish I had an excuse to wear it again. Rookery Bridal also provided a list of recommended seamstresses, and I chose Suzie—she was absolutely perfect.
Highly recommend to any bride looking for a stress-free and enjoyable dress shopping experience!

The entire team were extremely helpful in finding my dress. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel comfortable and relaxed.
They had read my notes and were ready to start my appointment with dresses I had already mentioned. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured. I’m excited to pick up my dress when it comes!!
