From the moment I messaged Jodie on instagram, I knew Minxies was the right hair and makeup team for my wedding. The minxies team were always very quick to respond and always very helpful. Jodie and Abi were so lovely, and listened to everything I wanted at the hair and makeup trial. They helped me to relax and have a laugh on my wedding day, when I was very nervous. They had 9 of us ready in plenty of time, for photos before the ceremony. My bridesmaids and my hair and makeup was perfect all day and still looked perfect until the early hours of the morning. I really can't recommend Jodie and Abi enough, If you want perfect hair and makeup and a laugh on your wedding morning, Mixies is for you .

I booked the team at Minxies after having met them at a wedding fayre and then followed them on social media. I wear a fair bit of makeup, I’m confident at doing my own and I’ve done a load of friends makeup for events, so I don’t underestimate how difficult it can be with unfamiliar face/feature shapes, hair, skin and with different people’s tastes.
What I was so impressed with at Minxies from the outset was how they prided themselves on making real women look like the best version of themselves, which was exactly what I wanted - and the ladies absolutely delivered on that!

Jodie and Abi were amazing, they were extremely prompt and professional without compromising how lovely they were to chat with. They did an outstanding job with my mum, my multiple bridesmaids who all looked amazing, they absolutely nailed my wedding day look AND it all lasted all day with absolutely minimal maintenance. I don’t know how they did it, we got rained on and even then those looks weren’t budging!!

They also kept us on time despite the number of people booked and the time slot we had available (our hired wedding car drivers actually commented that it’s one of the only weddings they’ve ever worked where the bridal party were smack on time - and that was all down to Jodie and Abi!) which made SUCH a difference to keeping the stress levels down.

Honestly I can’t thank you enough for how you both made everyone feel, how efficient you were and the wonderful work you did. I’d honestly recommend you to anyone!!

We only had a small wedding but having my bridal party’s hair and makeup done was an absolute non negotiable. After looking around for a few weeks I finally settled on Minxies and it was the best decision! Everything was sorted out in record time and before I knew it the trial date was booked in, when it came to the trial Jodie and Li were brilliant!

They’re both so skilled and professional at what they do and I can’t fault them for anything, all of us were extremely happy with our hair and makeup! My makeup lasted beautifully throughout the whole day and held up really well through all the crying I did too. Hair was solid and didn’t move at all right up until I was getting into bed.

Because I don't live in Wales I didn't know where to look or where to find makeup and hair that I can trust. I found Minxies, saw their great reviews, and thought this looks good, I'll just hope for the best.

The first step is doing a trial, which was an amazing experience. They listened to everything I wanted, didn't make me feel like I was asking for too much, and made me look exactly how I wanted to.

On the wedding day they did even more than they had to. Not only did mine and all of my bridesmaids' hair and make up look amazing but they helped me with a flower incident I had, gathered everyone for the first look, and helped me adjust my dress. The energy in the room was amazing thanks to them.

I had Abi for mine and my bridal parties hair and Jodie for our make up. We all absolutely loved how it looked. The best thing about them is that they are so down to earth and listen to exactly what look you want to achieve for the big day. Nothing felt rushed and we had a good laugh getting ready. Had the pleasure of having Lauren & Angharad do mine and my bridesmaids hair and makeup for my recent wedding. From start to finish they were great! Helped us all feel so relaxed and made us look and feel amazing! Angharad stayed right up until we were about to leave for the aisle to ensure we were looking our best and the veil and hats were staying in place. Could not recommend them enough!

Jodie and Abi were were just amazing from start to finish, communication was always quick and clear and nothing was too much trouble. During our hair and makeup trials both Jodie & Abi bought to life the look each of us had in mind using just Pinterest photos as a reference! But most importantly to me, they both matched my bridal parties energy during the trial and on my wedding day. They joined in the fun and banter as well as helped to calm my nerves during my wedding morning. They were both friendly, caring, funny & professional at the same time, i would highly recommend minxies to any future bride!

Abi and Emily were so lovely, helpful and supportive during the trial and especially on my big day. They spoke to me and the girls about exactly what we wanted and liked and if we need any adjustments. During the day they were like part of the group, joined in the fun and helped calm my nerves. I had Lauren & Abi for hair & makeup for myself, bridesmaids & mum, both were very friendly and really knew what they were doing. I was impressed with how quickly they were able to get everyone done the morning of the wedding to such a high standard and without us having to get up stupidly early. They then waited to ensure everyone was happy and more than happy to do any touch up necessary. They nailed the look I was after which then stayed in place all day. I can't thank them and the whole team enough.

What a great company with great staff. They worked their socks off at our trial and on the wedding morning. They were with us early and made sure they had plenty of time for us all. They were happy to change things as we went if people wanted abit mow or less of this and that. Emily and Cath were great company for my wedding morning. They are friendly and professional and it was a pleasure to meet them!
