Alexandra Gallop MUA delivers polished, natural bridal looks that are as individual as her brides. With over 15 years of experience in bridal and occasion makeup, Alex is a trusted artist whose passion for makeup, beauty, fashion and art are evident in her signature makeup style of radiant skin and mesmerising eyes.
Alexandra Gallop MUA is based in Abergavenny and serves the counties of Monmouthshire, Powys, Herefordshire, Bristol, Cardiff and beyond.
Bridal makeup trials are your chance to curate the perfect look to complement your style, vibe and wedding aesthetic. Trials are carried out at Alex’s studio in Abergavenny or at your home.
Alex caters to bridal parties of all sizes, ages, and nationalities, up to a maximum of 7 individuals.
Using luxury makeup brands selected for their quality and longevity, Alex creates looks that last from 7 am until the party ends, whilst still looking fresh and natural.
Alex is always happy to answer questions by email or WhatsApp, to help you feel confident about booking her for your big day.

Couldn’t have asked for a better MUA

If you’re looking for a MUA who creates beautiful, natural makeup, Alex is incredible. From my trial, she really listened to what I wanted and understood my vision. She took on board my feedback but also suggested little tweaks that suited my face perfectly. The end result was a glowy, natural look that was exactly what I wanted.

She’s also just a genuinely lovely person. Having her there on the morning of the wedding was such a pleasure – she kept everything calm, relaxed and fun, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better.

My makeup made me feel like the very best version of myself. I can honestly say Alex was worth every penny and I’d recommend her in a heartbeat.

I would highly recommend Alex. So much so, she’s always my first recommendation when anyone asks for a MUA. Not only is she incredibly skilled, she has the warmest personality that really puts you at ease on your Wedding Day. She managed the entire wedding party with a professional manner and everyone was delighted with their make-up. A talented, reliable and genuinely lovely artist!

The best MUA...

I honestly couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist than Alex! The trial was so helpful as we got to try different looks and colours, so I felt completely confident about what I wanted for the wedding day. She also gave me some really useful advice on how to prep my skin beforehand.

On the morning of the wedding, Alex was calm, friendly and organised, she made getting ready feel really relaxed, special and good fun. She really listened to what everyone wanted, including the bridesmaids and my mum so eveyone involved felt special.

The makeup was exactly what I'd hoped for – natural, flawless and it lasted all day. I couldn't have been happier and would recommend Alex to anyone looking for a talented makeup artist!
