Wishbone & Comb is a mobile hair and make-up company specialising in weddings throughout South Wales, Bristol, Hereford and Worcester.
This fabulous team of fifteen, proudly led by Laura Glanville, includes make-up artists, hair stylists and beauticians. They have a wealth of experience in the hair & beauty industry and have won a myriad of accolades including the 2023 + 2022 Hitched Wedding Award, of which they are extremely proud!

Ahead of your big day, Wishbone & Comb offers hair and makeup trials for you and your entire wedding entourage. When it comes to your hair styling, this team focuses on your visions, face shape, hair thickness, length, and much more. Likewise, with their makeup application, they incorporate your ideas using top-of-the-range products to make sure that your look lasts the whole celebration. Additional beauty services include nails and eyelash extensions. On the day of your wedding, this team will travel to your location and create your flawless hair & makeup. This allows you to relax with friends and look forward to walking down the aisle.

Amazing wedding hair by Laura!
Laura at Wishbone and Comb agreed to do my wedding hair at really short notice and responded straight away! She was so friendly and knew exactly how I wanted my hair. The prices were reasonable too!

Excellent experience for bride and bridal party
Laura was able to do hair and makeup for myself and my sister, niece and mother for my wedding. I had a hair and makeup trial previously with Laura so there was a good plan in place and everything went really well. I’d recommend Laura to anyone looking for bridal beauty services. She was a very calm and fun presence to get ready with on the day, and she was very flexible with what everyone asked for.

Wonderful Laura saved the day!
With only a week to go before my wedding, makeup and hair plans fell through and I was worried that I would have to get married looking like the Gruffalo. However, Laura came to the rescue with not only a short notice booking but the most beautiful updo incorporating my headband, makeup that made me feel like the most confident and beautiful version of myself, and a variety of bridesmaid styles and makeup too. She was so friendly but also calming, the whole morning seemed to flash by with great conversation and just the nicest experience. I couldn’t recommend Laura or Wishbone & Comb more enthusiastically and wholeheartedly.

Top bride experience
Natasha was fantastic with the bridesmaids and myself. Everyone had very different hair styles and ideas, and she did an amazing job of bringing everyone's looks together. She also helped my mum with her fascinator, and made sure it wouldn't come out during the day, even though she wasn't having her hair done.
She came to the house to do a trial, and put me at ease and made sure I was completely happy with my look.

Great hair & make-up supplier!
I had Kirsten and Hannah for make-up and hair and both of them were an absolute dream to work with. I met them both at my trial sessions and they were both really lovely and did an amazing job. They were both really receptive and adaptive to what me, my bridesmaids and my mum wanted, and made us all look and feel amazing on the big day.

A truly bespoke and lovely experience
I had a great experience with Wishbone and Comb. They were easy to get in touch with and responsive to my messages. I opted for a trial, which worked really well as I'm not a regular makeup wearer this process made me feel very at ease and I felt my makeup artist Sophie really responded to my needs and made the look incredibly bespoke and natural looking. It was also lovely building a rapport with Sophie before the big day and I felt was a vital step in making the wedding morning feel relaxed. She also provided me with samples to keep in my bag in case I needed a touch up, which was very thoughtful.
The hair and makeup were so beautiful as well and incredibly easy to wear and comfortable. I was apprehensive about having my hair and makeup done professionally and worried I would not look like me, however due to the level of service and attention to detail I very quickly felt like I was in safe hands and could just relax and enjoy the experience. The results were also perfect and just what I wanted and I felt truly amazing!

Made my day even more special
From first contact Wishbone and Comb have been amazing. Laura was very responsive and helpful. Sarah is lovely. She styled my hair and makeup beautifully. I felt like a Princess. I would thoroughly recommend.

October Wedding
I couldn't recommend Laura and her team enough. Laura was very responsive and absolutely lovely to chat with about my bookings.
My bridal parties' hair trial and hair on the day was done by Natasha, who was absolutely lovely. Our hair was incredible and lasted all night (even through all the dancing). It was a really lovely experience, and I can't thank Laura and her team enough.

Lovely stylist!
Had a lovely experience with Hannah who did hair for myself, 4 bridesmaids and MOB. Listened to what we wanted but was also great at expanding on our ideas and giving suggestions. I have difficult hair that doesn't hold a curl at all, and Hannah still managed to produce a beautiful style for me. Everyone looked stunning and our hair held all day. Thanks to Laura at the head of it all for organising everything too! Good communication and well organised. Would definitely recommend 🙂

Couldn't recommend them enough!
From start to finish they were incredible. Fast responses to emails, organised timings and helped keep our morning stress free and organised.
The hair and make up artists were incredible and helped us create the looks we wanted and offered us advice on things that would suit us and compliment our dressed which was really helpful.

Amazing team!
Laura and hair Stylish Charlotte were incredible from start to finish. Charlotte made me feel so at ease and I loved how amazing my hair looked - it was exactly what I wanted even though I was initially nervous as I never get my hair done. The day before our small outdoor wedding the weather forecast was just awful and I asked if it was possible to change the date to the day afterwards (which was beautifully sunny) and unbelievably Laura and Charlotte pulled the stops out and with less than 24hrs notice were able to change the date. I couldn’t believe it, was literally crying with joy! Can’t thank them enough for doing a brilliant job, would 100% recommend Laura and her team to others. Thanks so much!
